Watched some of the Council meeting last night... our City Manager said that if Council came up with $500K for the Aquatic Center, the problems would be resolved..WRONG! Coming up with $500K would maybe solve the current issue, but what about next year etc. You know.. no specific facility is successful if it doesn't attract enough users who's fees pay for it to stay open.

You know, both the City and School System are strained by after school program costs. Perhaps parents who are not employed be responsible for caring for their children after school would help with the care costs for children of working parent(s).

It's scary that Hillary has a better than 50% negative opinion nationwide. Even scarier is that only 20% in the poll group had a negative opinion of Bernie,  a self-declared Socialist.

Could not believe that Council voted 9-1 on sending a new "freeze attack" edict to our legislators. especially with them not having a copy to read until one day before voting on it.. Anybody running against any of the 9, let me know..except for Bruce Huff.. he will get my full support if anybody runs against him.

I also believe we should demand a ballot initiative amendment that if the Mayor gets her "thaw", then the two "LOST" sales taxes be rescinded.. both were passed to address specific revenue shortages which could not be attained under the "freeze".

You know... if black communities cooperated with the police, street thugs would not have havens to rule over.. a major problem is "neighbors" who will not "snitch" when not doing so endangers them and their families. "Black Lives Matter" could actually be positively effective if it made it's presence part of crime blighted neighborhoods in cooperation WITH the police.
