Online headline/story: "Trump gets booed at the Republican debate over support for eminent domain * Trump said. "Without it, you wouldn't have roads. You wouldn't have hospitals. You wouldn't have anything. You wouldn't have schools. You wouldn't have bridges. You need eminent domain." *  Ironically, as Trump went on to note, many of his conservative critics are also vocal supporters of the Keystone XL pipeline, which would transport oil from the tar sands of Canada to the Gulf of Mexico and would require the use of eminent domain.  *  Trump said, referring to the booing - "By the way, let me just tell you, we needed tickets [to the debate]. You can't get them. You know who has the tickets — to the television audience? Donors, special interests, the people that are putting up the money. That's who it is. The RNC told us." -- Watched only a few minutes after hearing Cruz "back down" about expounding on his assessment concerning Trump's ability to be the "Commander-in-Chief".. Cruz went into a packaged response of "the voters will decide", no doubt at the discernment of the RNC. And the "tickets" distribution.. obviously they weren't fairly distributed ..if Bush had his "share" earned by poll numbers, Bush fan support would have been faint.

Online headline/story: "Bill Maher endorses Bernie Sanders" -- Heh heh heh.. guess G.I. JILLary * During a discussion on his HBO show "Real Time with Bill Maher," MSNBC analyst Alex Wagner asked whether Maher believed Sanders has what it takes to be commander-in-chief. * Maher shot back, "F*** yeah! The guy who voted right on the Iraq war? Yea, I do." -- Talk about a party collapse.. guess Maher supports exchanging our Stars and Stripes flag for a solid white one..

---
From above story: "On Thursday, Maher took aim at GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz, saying the Texas senator is more dangerous than front runner Donald Trump because Cruz uses his intelligence "in the service of evil."" -- Good grief.. first Carter and now Maher making backhand endorsements.. Trump must really have the Dems scared.

---
Online headline: "Teen arrested after posting video of heinous cat abuse * On Friday, Chicago police arrested 18-year-old Leon Teague, who faces a felony charge for animal torture and a misdemeanor animal cruelty charge." -- Hmmm.. at least something being murdered rouses Chicago to stand up against street crime!

---
Speaking of Chicago.. it's off to a tear this year..January saw 53 shot and killed, 246 shot and wounded, and a total of 57 homicides. The total for January for people shot and either killed or just wounded was 299.. THat more than doubles the total of January of 2015 (149), and nearly triples the number from 2014 (103). "Black Lives Matter", Jesse, Al, NERO-bamageddon... where are you!

---
Speaking of safety.. Columbus, GA did not make the list of the 12 most violent cities in GA... on the other hand, Columbus didn't make the list of the 40 safest in GA either.. guess "are stuck in the middle".. pretty pathetic for a city that it's citizens voted to give an extra $20+ Million annually via a permanent "Public Safety LOST" sales tax to enhance the regular budget..

---
Oooops.. update.. found a new study by Law Street Media... dated  April 2015..that has us ranked as the number 9 of the most dangerous cities in the state of Georgia.. as Saturday Night Live's Emily Litella might finish her report, "Nevermind".

---
Bernie was on Saturday Night Live,, it was hard to tell the Socialist from imitator.. guess you have to say it was true life realistic since you can't tell the difference between the Socialist and the Progressive Democrat during a Democrat debate.

L-E headline: "HOW DO JUVENILE SUSPECTS WIND UP CHARGED AS ADULTS? * In light of three teens now facing charges for the Upatoi homicides, attorneys explain how the ‘S.B. 440’ law affects the ‘seven deadly sins’" -- Good grief.. due to the nature of the brutality and animalistic circumstances of these crimes, why is the L-E bothering to question why "S.B. 440" was injected into the arrests! Maybe the L-E reporter should have the 15 year old remanded into his custody and placed in his house until trial time..

---
L-E headline: "Taking care of family * Proposed state laws may help grandparents raise grandchildren" -- Anybody remember the definition of insanity? I think it is wonderful that grandparents have opportunities
to assist.. even raise their children's children, but why do the taxpayers have to pay for it? A labor of love and sacrifice is admirable.. special.. but let's make that the only reason for this. Of course, with all the pluses of grandparents "taking responsibility", there are minuses.. the biggest being that the parent(s) who have "lost" these children to "foster care" are put back into their children's lives/influence when the grandparents  take over.. tell me how the children benefit if the biological parents haven't been rehabitated; tell me j=how society benefits from this as well.

Incredibly stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I know most of you don’t want to hear this, but we have got to take capitalism out of our health care system. It’s just a fact." -- Good grief... what needs to be done is strip government out of healthcare.. and prohibit insurance companies from negotiating fees for medical services with doctors and hospitals, The people needing/seeking healthcare have no input into what their healthcare costs, If hospitals ,, even medical groups were put into a competitive environment.. like department stores.. you'd see lower.. even sale prices on services...

L-E story: " Chicago police said they believe six family members found dead in their southwest side home were killed in a “targeted incident,” though they’re still trying to determine a possible motive. * Police found the six people  — two children, two women and two men — dead on Thursday after one of the men’s co-workers called 911 to report he hadn’t shown up to work for two days. *  Authorities initially said it was possible one person killed the other five before taking his or her own life. *  But the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office on Friday ruled their deaths homicides, saying five were stabbed to death and the sixth died of multiple gunshot wounds." -- "possible motive"? Good grief.. it's Chicago.. it's either gang or drug or probably both.

---
L-E story: "Metro Atlanta schools not only conduct fire drills and tornado drills, but most now teach students — from elementary school upward — what to do during lock-downs  * “Many of them treat it the same as math class,” said Shannon Flounnory, executive director for safety and security in the Fulton County School District. “It’s a part of school now. It’s a part of the times that we’re in now.” -- Good grief,,, scaring children is now "part of school"? We need to eliminate government run school systems by getting back to appointed school boards and eliminating federal programs.. !

---
L-E story: "DETROIT — Authorities have arrested a 21-year-old Michigan man whom they accuse of supporting Islamic State militants and plotting to attack a Detroit church. * Khalil Abu-Rayyan, of Dearborn Heights, appeared Thursday in U.S. District Court in Detroit and remains jailed pending a Monday hearing. He hasn’t been charged with terrorism-related crimes but has been investigated since May and faces marijuana and gun charges." -- Hmmm.. obviously not on the list of mosque's NERO-bamageddon NEEDS to visit..

---
How could the L-E interviewer sit down with our GA DOT representative and not ask him specifically about the delays and costs of the Whittlesey Road widening project instead of just asking softball questions?

---
L-E guest commetary: "Commentary: Can Bernie Sanders win the African-American vote? : Mary Sanchez" -- Good grief.. 80+ percent of blacks will vote straight line Democrat regardless of who's name is on the ballot...and Martin Luther King will roll over in his grave... again.

---
Online story: "Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush bashed Donald Trump as unpresidential for telling the Florida governor to “shush” during Saturday’s GOP debate," -- Hmmm..now the real question.. did Bush Shush?

---
Online story: "Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright on Saturday said there was a "special place in hell" for women who backed Sen. Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton in Tuesday's primary." -- Good grief.. how does a so-called "enlightened woman" tell other women how they should vote?

---
Super Bowl "imagination" attempt or not, Marmot.com should be ostracized by all, and the FCC should revoke marmot's US advertising/business licenses. The idea if showing a man making an amorous move on an animal!

---
Online story: "At a conference of coalition members tasked with fighting ISIS in Rome yesterday, Secretary of State John Kerry said members of the terrorist organization are not Muslims but apostates of Islam. * “Daesh [ISIS] is in fact nothing more than a mixture of killers, of kidnappers, of criminals, of thugs, of adventurers, of smugglers and thieves,” Kerry said" -- Shades of Trumpisms! Kerry says Islamist are not Muslims.. but "apostates", killers, of kidnappers, of criminals, of thugs, of adventurers, of smugglers and thieves". Besides saying Muslims are even worse that the Mexican illegal immigrants Trump got blistered for, Kerry also says those radical Muslims have renounced  (that's what an apostate is) their allegiance to Allah. Quick, somebody post the GPS coordinates of Kerry's homes and yacht.

L-E headline: "Muscogee County School District to host 2016 Idea Fair" -- "Host"? Let's get real... the MCSD needs to ATTEND an Idea Fair, because what's happening locally "ain't working" and I hope no other school district wants to learn from ours...

---
L-E story: "(Dr.) Lewis is asking the board to approve implementation of a LEaP  (Learning, Enrichment and Progress) Academy program at nine early success center locations. Those elementary school locations are Double Churches, Eagle Ridge, Forrest Road, Fox, Lonnie Jackson, J.D. Davis, Mathews, Rigdon Road and South Columbus." -- "early success center locations"? Did any of those "early success centers" pass the Milestone Testing?

---
From above story: "The board is being asked to award a contract to Trane Inc. for a little more than $3 million for a new heating, ventilating and air conditioning system and LED lighting system at the Columbus Museum." -- Whatta buncha bunk! The Museum is better equipped to pay for itself and needs  through local donations.. BUT... the MCSD gets an extra 5 mils, better than 20% of it's tax revenues (which would amount to over $30 MILLION if put in the Museum coffer), because the Museum is under the MCSD umbrella.. No way does the Museum use 20+ percent of the revenues that the MCSD collects, so any "contribution" to the Museum is just "lip service".

From the "does anyone proof read the headlines sent to or printed in the L-E" department - L-E headline/story: "Man shoots officer before he’s found dead in car — From wire reports *   Arrggghhh!!!!! No  comments necessary.. if you didn't catch.. just reread until you do.

Did you notice in the Super Bowl that there were a lot of dropped passes, and fumbles? There was a quick video that probably explains it.. the NFL tried to get a new football in on every play (somne quick count plays prohibited this ploy). The NFL made 100 "official" Super Bowl 50 balls.. presumably in order to pass out as rewards to executive etc after the game.. I remember the absolute disdain for new basketballs and footballs used in games.. the patina of newness is slippery and promotes mishandling the ball. Talk about manipulating how a game goes.....

Ricky Fowler must be in shock following yesterday's PGA tournament.. Going into #17, he had a 2 stroke lead.. He teed off on the short par 4 and hit a perfect drive,, It flew long and straight and rolled just as true onto the green..and it kept rolling and rolling through the middle of the green (avoiding the traps alongside the green), until it rolled over the green and down the slope... into the water.  He did sink a birdie on the 18th r=to tie and get into a playoff, but got snakebit again on that 17th hole when he played more conservatively but pulled a 5-wood into the greenside water.

Did you hear Peyton Manning giving us his post-Super Bowl plans? No Disney World for this guy.. He want a kiss from his wife and a Budweiser beer,, Budweiser made a coup on this.. Obviously a "paid endorsement for Budweiser, but I want to know what the workers and owners of Coors, based in Colorado, faces looked like when Manning mentioned Budweiser.
