It's "Groundhog Day"... bet G.I. JILLary dreads 6 more weeks of Bernie..

---
G.I. JILLary brought cookies to one.if her campaign stops..one thing we know is they were "store bought", as she told us a long time ago she didn't spend/waste time in the kitchen.

---
Iowa has showed us one very important insight in the minds of voters.. neither libs or conservatives are are supporting establishment candidates... When you add Cruz and Trump and Carson's votes, over 2-out-of-three Republicans cast their votes to move away from the RNC platform. Even Rubio, the leader of the "establishment" sector swamped the rest of the "contenders".

On the Democrat side.. it was a disaster for G.J. JILLary.. With 25 years of being groomed and fawned over, she could not put away an old white Socialist white guy from a state that has only 625,000 in population.  More  Democrats rejected her as supported her..Even sadder is that she spent more than Sanders did... and that Sanders is creeping closer to matching her in donations received.

---
You know, on the Republican side, Iowa doesn't confirm Cruz nor depose Trump.. There has been so much mainstream media meddling and bias that the only thing for sure is there'll be no Bush 45

---
With O'Malley dropping out of the Democrat race, I guess there won't be any more stage debates for JILLary.. because she can no longer be put in the "Center". Now she would have to be either on the left or right of Bernie.. well, she should be comfortable doing that since she's so accustomed to "flip-flopping" on all the issues.

---
Yea.. the Iowa Caucus is over.. unfortunately, we'll have another solid week of New Hampshire to deal with,  a state with only 625,000 people in it. Only G.I. JILLary will be able to parse "What difference does it make!"

Online headline: "Study reveals new impact the moon has on weather * Research from the University of Washington suggests the moon has more power over our weather changes than most people think." -- Hey, Algore.. write a new rule so limit the moon's power!

I have always been able to tolerate people's personal choices, but that does not mean I can, or have to, accept them as normal. I just saw a Hallmark Valentine ad with two older men kissing. That just did it for one buying a Hallmark card for Valentines.. I think I am scarred for life! Any legal eagles out there want to file my case for me ... ad millions of other men and women?

---
Online "headLIE": "National debt soars to record-breaking amount"  - Good grief.. the National Debt has BEEN at record breaking amounts all of NERO-bamageddon's terms in office.. now it's just gone over the $19,000,000,000,000.00 (yeah, $19 TRILLION). If you divide that amount by 300,000,000 Americans, that's over $63,000.00 we each have in debt.. but that number is tainted.. There are 50,000,000 in K-12 Public schools, 20,000,000 going to college, another 20,000,000 4 or younger, another 15,000,000 in private k-12 schools... plus another 50,000,000 on food stamps..That's 155,000,000 not in the work force yet. In other words the National Debt load is not spread on the shoulders of 300,000,000 but on 145,000,000, which basically double our debt load.

Online headline/story: "Man left brain damaged in crash 16 years ago is finally identified * A previously unidentified man who's been on life support in a California care facility since 1999 finally has a name.
The Mexican Consulate in San Diego announced Friday that the man, known to his caregivers only as 'Garage 66' until now, has been reunited with his family.  * The break though came after activist groups, Mexican and U.S. government officials, and staff from U.S. Customs and Border Protection were brought together by Enrique Morones from the non-profit Border Angels to help finally ID the man."  - Good grief.. an illegal alien has been on life support in California for 16 years, and now has been identified through the Mexican Consulate.. I guess this mean, every US citizens' tax dollars that have been spent need to be refunded to various government entities and distributed back to the individual taxpayers , and the Mexican government be given a duplicate bill. How the Mexican government recoups from that family is its business.

---
Good grief.. Eric Snowden has been nominated.. and appears favored.. for a Nobel Peace Prize... ridiculous isn't it.. but, you know, Snowden certainly has done more than NERO-bamageddon to deserve consideration.

---
Online headline: "American Airlines is bringing back this free perk..." -- Oh... it's "snacks".. I was hoping for "service".

---
Guess my posts about the Whittlesey Road fiasco, and the upcoming one at the proposed roundabout at River Road/Bradley Park Road have gotten under the skin of the GA DOT...getting responses on L-E/FaceBook posts from people with "skin in the game".

---
A related story to the roundabout discussions: A few years ago, "Streetscapes" happened on Veterans Parkway south of 13th Street. Medians were built and cut-throughs so vehicles could make u-turns. The funny thing is that when they made cut-throughs north of 10th Street, any truck trying to do so could not make the turn without backing up from the opposite curb.. I wrote about it and local folks came to its defense by saying that the best road designer in the country had designed it so it has to work, I suggested they take a pick-up truck, with or without a trailer, and try to maneuver that cut-through during rush hour, The next day, barricades were put in place to keep vehicles from attempting that, and weeks later, another lane was added at the expense ot the right-of-way, and the landscaping of CB&T's 10th Street Branch.. Putting ideas on paper does not insure it is properly vetted..

You know, those Marietta parents upset at having to buy iPads for their own high school should be embarrassed publicly for whining about preparing their children for Real World 101!

---
L-E headline/story: "GEORGIA SUPREME COURT * Michael Eddings reprimanded by court * The Georgia Supreme Court on Monday reprimanded Columbus attorney Michael Ed-dings for questioning jailed suspects without their attorneys’ consent after he turned to criminal defense law after trust account fraud was discovered in his practice. * Since the theft was discovered, Eddings has steadfastly maintained that he had nothing to do with the fraud and had no knowledge of it. He has repeatedly contended the scheme was orchestrated and carried out by his then-wife and office manager Sonya Eddings." -- Wow.. very appropriate at Valentine's.. the "rift that keeps on giving".. us a headache.. Now, can anyone tell me where Sonya Eddings is and what her restitutional responsibilities are?
---
2016's front runner for the stupidest LIV's L-E "soundoff" for the year: " I watch the Democratic debates and see three people making good plans to fix what the Republicans have caused. I watch the Republican debates and I see a bunch of liars." -- Wow!.. will some one trace this "soundoff" IP address and forward it to the DOJ to make sure he/she never can buy a gun! Also check area mental hospitals for recent escapees..
---
Incredibly stupid L-E "soundoff": "I want to thank the Ledger for the extra puzzles. Keep up the good work." -- Ooops, my bad.. I thought he/she was referring to news stories that don't make sense with all the missing clues as to what actually happened..
---
Good grief.. the number of L-E ads that the ESP (Enrichment Services Program) has run for Head Start/Early Start would have paid most of the program costs.
---
L-E story: "Veteran Columbus orthopedic surgeon Dr. Champ Baker Jr. calls a relatively new procedure to repair tendon-related injuries “pretty sweet.” *  Following the approximately 20-minute procedure, a small bandage is applied.
Over-the-counter pain medication may be taken for discomfort.
The normal length of time for complete recovery is two to six weeks.
There is no need for physical therapy or additional treatments afterward.
Baker said the procedure is simple enough to do in a doctor’s office, but the Food and Drug Administration demands the procedure be done in a hospital.
Baker said it can be done in a hospital room. Sometimes, family members are there watching.
There is no hospital stay, which is another advantage to the procedure.
“This is the best way to get rid of chronic tendon pain,” Baker said.
Good grief.. a world renown doctor says he can do this procedure in his office, but the FDA says it has to be done in a hospital.. No wonder government run healthcare sucks and drives up the costs.
---
L-E story: " Georgia’s highest court on Monday ruled against a group of young people who were brought to the U.S. illegally as children and wanted access to in-state tuition at the state’s colleges and universities.
However, the court decision hinged not on their immigration status, but on whether they were legally allowed to sue the state. -- Good grief.. our GA Supreme Court hung us citizens out to dry.. The only issue is whether illegal aliens  have the right to services provide by states and the federal government for the  benefit legal citizens.
---

L-E headline/story: "Lawyers deem inmate’s death sentence excessive in murder case *  Lawyers for a Georgia inmate set to die this week for a 1979 killing urged the state’s highest court on Monday to throw out his death sentence, calling it disproportionate to his crime. * Brandon Astor Jones was convicted of killing of convenience store manager Roger Tackett in greater Atlanta’s Cobb County and is scheduled to receive an injection of pentobarbital at 7 p.m. today at the state prison in Jackson." -- Good grief.. I think the GA Supreme Court should eithe invoke the death sentence on the appeal lawyers or sentence them to live in the murderers' cell for the remainder of his life.. It will be a lot cheaper on taxpayers to feed the bottomsuckers for the rest of the sentence (the killing happened 37 years ago, and the killer is now 72) than to keep paying the legal fees to those lawyers.
