The Special Election runoff for GA House District 139 is over.. While we lost a fine Representative when Richard Smith passed earlier this year, we were fortunate to have great choices stepping up to continue his legacy during the election and runoff.. In the end, Carmen Rice was selected to carry on, and she will do a fine job representing our area needs.

I still haven't heard how Mayor Skippy the Phew of Columbus GA got a legislative "tip-toe" around the legacy codicil that required 2.3rds of us voters to change the use of Golden Park and the "100 Acre Scam" from a recreation area to a commercial one.. well, Mayor Skippy has certainly earned his new name.. the whole deal STINKS!

You know, the Oglethorpe Bridge crossing the Chattahoochee River from Alabama into Columbus, GA is due to be replaced.. and you know that's going to have a tremendous negative effect on traffic at the "100 Acre Scam" for a long re-construction time period.

The number of "double counts" is stated at 3,000 but that's just the ones officials have figured out, and it could be higher than the 11,000 votes Trump asked Raffensperger to "find"... Looks like RaTTensperger has "some splainin" to do!
