From the "I can't wait to hear the White House spin" and "now we know""
departments - Online headline: "The U.S. Government Is Investigating Why Your
Netflix Is So Slow" -- Now we know what the Student Loan Ranger/Mosqued Man does
when he's not playing golf, and why there hasn't been time for the government to
investigate IRS, Benghazi/Beenhazy, Gitmo swap, "fast&furious", GM,
Constitutional carnage, and...good grief, the master plan to make us forget is
working... I am having a 'brain blockout' on some of the other scandals because
the Mosqued Man's diversion of Tali-bergd(_*_)hl is working on keeping
conservative media away from follow-through on them! Oh, Iraq, Afghanistan,
Syria, Ukraine, 'red lines in the sand', gun control, Demoicratic wars on women
and wages.....etc. Whew...
---
As to the above... if not for the effect of diverting attention, why is the government concerned with the service of a private company and it's customers? If Netflix doesn't deliver services as promised, consumers have the option to find other businesses offering better. Just look at how the cellphone companies have responded to the public needs/wants.
---
Online headline: "Dozens Dead In Militant Attack On Kenyan Town" -- Oooops, my bad... thought it was about the DOJ staving off Trump's troops trying to get the original birth certificate of the Mosqued Man.
---
Dang.. another possible replacement moniker for Judas 00-Barnum has leapt into existence.. I've been juggling "Student Loan Ranger" and Mosqued Man, but now "Man of Steal" fits pretty good as well.
---
The Spurs won the NBA.. not that I'm excited....concerned or care, for that matter....but simply because Miami didn't win.
---
Online headline: "U.S. Mulls Discussions With Iran Over Iraq Security Crisis, Official Says" -- Guess the Mosqued Man is trying to keep one more of his campaign problems. We see how his keeping his promise "to transform/dismantle America, now we see he's ready to sit down and chit-chat with terrorists. You know... the Mosqued Man has tripped himself up.. he constantly blasts Republicans as terrorists, so what's his excuse for not sitting down at a table and talking WITH them?
---
Online story: "Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union" that the government should talk with Iran about the deteriorating situation in Iraq." -- Help! Yank this man's Republican Party membership!
---
You know.. there are 17 cases still before the US Supreme Court to be decided by the end of June, or passed on to the next session. I'm going to say that most hinge on the consciences of six men... we already know how all the women will vote.

Huff{Post headline: "IRS Says It Lost Lois Lerner's Emails In Targeting Probe" -- Good grief... now the department head is saying "the dog ate its homework". Lerner's excuse might even work...but on the bright side.. we... WE have a new hope when the IRS wants to dig into our past tax returns. WE can say we sent that info to Lois Lerner via e-mail!
---
Online story: "On Monday, as part of his push to assist students buried in debt, President Obama said the Department of Education would be renegotiating contracts to make sure students’ best interest came first."
-- "to make sure students' 'best interests' came first"? Hmmm shouldn't the Student Loan Arranger thought of that "first"? Hmmm, wait a minute.. I see where's he's been and going with this.. the Student Loan Ranger DID make sure "student interests" came first...and later.. and forever if they don't vote Democrat.

Have you seen the picture of Justice Sotomayer just "stumbling into" Hillary at Costco? Yeah.. likely story. but if you see the picture, you'll want to contact the US Supreme Court wardrobist, and ask that Sotomayoy be made to wear her Court Robe in public as well.. Oh! Did you see she the two security police with her? The Supreme Court police are assigned normally to guard the Court building and Justices when they are on scheduled public appearances.. this sorts blows the cover on this being a "chance" meeting.

L-E story: "The Detroit Free Press reports work on Constitution Hall and the Stevens T. Mason Building is taking place at a cost of $32.4 million, more than double the original $14.8 million estimate. An aim was to move more than 1,000 employees from leased space to cut costs. * Meanwhile, the newspaper says nearly all employees who are moving into or will move into Constitution Hall are coming from another state-owned building, not a leased building." -- Two things standout here..three actually.. the "third" is that it's naturally a Democratic Party led project... but the other two things clear up what we "felt" at the time.. that the MCSD probably hired the same construction crew to build the Education Building on Macon Road, and that even though the employees came from other buildings around the school system, the only "expense center" that was shut down was the old School Administration Building near the old library.
---
L-E story: "The parents of a mentally disabled woman are suing Wal-Mart and police after she was stopped for suspected shoplifting at a Detroit-area store. * Wendy Kozma of Novi tells the Detroit Free Press her 25-year-old daughter, Jodi, who has the mental capacity of an 8-year-old, now is terrified of police after being handcuffed and questioned at a Wal-Mart in Livonia" -- Hmmm... looks like there may be more here than meets the eye here.. my question is why the parents of a mentally challenged adult child be left her alone in a shopping environment where her childlike mentality might draw attention as she touched items for sale? Oh, another question just got a plausible answer... I've often wondered why Monday L-E's seemed so devoid of local news.. now we know the reporters must probably moonlight second jobs in Detroit... q;-)

L-E headline/story: "Domino's introduces a 'Siri' to take mobile orders *
The rollout is part of an ongoing push by Domino's to take business away from
rivals and smaller pizza shops by offering more convenient ways to order." --
"Siri"? "offering a more convenient way to order"? Huh? Sounds like this idea
was hatched up in Colorado while someone was cooking up a recreational marijuana
pizza. I believe what Domino's should be trying to do is offer up a "more
efficient" (versus convenient) way to order pizza online or by phone.

L-E story: "The Portland City Council ( in Maine, as opposed to the Detroit
area) is scheduled to take up two proposals that proponents say would cut back
on litter and help the environment. * ..council will meet Monday to hear public
comments on a proposed nickel fee on disposable shopping bags" -- Wow.. does the
Portland Council get our Council meetings on their cable TV system? This sounds
like a "tax" only our Mayor would come up with..

Online story: "The state of Georgia on Friday agreed to pay more than $1.8
million to settle two lawsuits against its ethics commission and one that had
yet to be filed. * In agreements signed Friday, former commission deputy
director Sherilyn Streicker will be paid $1 million and the agency’s computer
specialist, John Hair, will receive $410,000. Former commission attorney
Elisabeth Murray-Obertein, who had threatened to sue, will receive $477,500." --
Hmmm.. now the chicken/egg question: Since it was about "ethics", is it really
ethical for the complainants (and their lawyers) to actually accept such a
settlement? Shouldn't they be more ethical than the people they accused?
---
Online story: "A Colorado man loses custody of his children after getting a
medical marijuana card. The daughter of a Michigan couple growing legal
medicinal pot is taken by child-protection authorities after an ex-husband says
their plants endangered kids." -- Bet if you look, and you probably won't have
to look 'too hard', but I'll bet there are a lot of donations to legalize
marijuana coming from family and divorce law attorneys.

You know... sometime this week, White House spinmeisters will be out saying
that Mosqued Man's golfing trip to Palm Springs, was actually a surveillance
trip to check out border security, and that the Secret Service was actually
working border security.

L-E headline/story: "Columbus State hires search firm to help find new
athletic director * CSU committee says firm has ‘a history of success’ * CSU is
paying Parker ( Executive Search) a set fee of $45,000, plus expenses, according
to a copy of the agreement between CSU and Parker ( Executive Search). Parker (
Executive Search) will also reimburse candidates for “interview travel expenses
and invoice the University for those reimbursements'" -- Good grief! Why does
CSU even have a committee to hire a research firm and not hire a AD themselves?
Wouldn't a phone call to a known AD of success in the state's college system be
just as fruitful? To boot, this basically will be added into the cost of every
student's loan he/she will be paying back over the next 10-20 years.

From the L-E's "today in History" feature: " On this date: In 1858, accepting the Illinois Republican Party’s nomination for the U.S. Senate, Abraham Lincoln said the slavery issue had to be resolved, declaring, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” -- Hmmm, and Democrat Stephen Douglas... Chicago Democrat, at that, beat Lincoln campaigning against Lincoln's anti-slavery position. You know, that's still the problem today.. Republicans want everyone to be free from enslavement, and the Democrats buy votes by promising more slavery through government control.

Trump was referencing the Man of Steal's 'course of action.. uh,
inaction'...

L-E headline: "GEORGIA DEATH ROW INMATE SET TO DIE TUESDAY" -- Yeah, he
says that now, but he'll have his lawyers mount another appeal as it gets
closer. His crime.. of rape and murder of a 15 year old neighbor's daughter
happened in 1989, and even though the girl's clothing and school materials were
found in the (_*_)'s apt/bedroom, it took nearly 4 years to convict him....
she'd be 25 today, the same age as my oldest daughter who just got married and
is beginning her own life. Continue praying for the girl's family...
forever.

You know, if Martin Kaymer wasn't playing in the US Open this past weekend,
the finish would have been exciting. 7 golfers finished with 2 strokes of second
place....sadly 8 shots back of Kaymer.
