For the last 4, we have not... and will not.. as long as Mescon is still involved. * There was a problem caused by the configuration of the Front Avenue garage. Mescon could have "fixed it" with a flick of a pen. It wasn't his idea, thus he wasn't going to implement it. BTW, it's still a problem today.. even worse than when it could have been stopped cold. * Having to deal with an ego the size of his was intolerable.. intolerable to even overlook for what we know is a long time better good that will be here after he's gone, but withholding just became the only recourse to make a point that we cannot see Mescon as leaving CSU better off.

Oh, BTW, it is nice to hear Callaway Gardens is recovering from past financial woes. Of course, I used to go more often when it was closer to Columbus.. Remember when Callaway used to advertise itself as 30 minutes from Columbus? Now it's a hour south of Atlanta.

Congrats to the 16 Columbus, GA High School students selected to participate in the Governor's Honors Program this summer. Sadly, only 3 local high schools are represented. Especially disappointing is the shut-out of Carver High School students. Carver has been the beneficiary of a costly rebuild campaign and technology upgrade with little return on investment for Columbus as a city.
