HuffPost headline: "Chuck Todd's Incredibly Harsh Words For Obama * "This poll is a disaster for the president...essentially the public is saying, 'your presidency is over.' -- "incredibly harsh words"? For an uber-liberal NBC White House Correspondent on a MSNBC show, this is akin to Bleep Veep Biden claiming that this is a "BFD" but spun by Jay Carney on his way out of the door.
---
You know, liberals have used the "bully" platform in so many arenas that they have denigrated its effectiveness , but now liberals are using their bully platform to bully the Washington Redskins owner. Talk about hypocrisy at its ugliest.
---
This whole current Democratic regime has brought political bullying to an art form. IRS has bullied charitable foundations , IRS has bullied conservative taxpayers, DOJ has bullied states wanting control over illegal immigration and voter registration requirements, the White House has bullied non-union businesses like Walmart, the whole healthcare industry, and businesses like Boeing which want to spread some of their business aspects to right-to-work states. There are other situations as well, but none are anymore disgusting than Congressional Democrats lambasting a private business from the dais of the Senate Chamber floor, and using the US Patent Office to strip a private business of its property.
---
Hmmm, wonder if the US Patent Office will go after other old trademarked names that are offensive..? Disney must be sweating some out..Poor Dopey, and Dumbo.. How about Goofy? Or Daffy Duck...Oh, and Robin Hood & Maid Marian..or the what about sundry Wicked Witches? Or how about that hamburger mooching Wimpy? You know..libs are their own worst enemies..unfortunately, mainstream media exists.
---
You know.. the Washington Redskins' owner should stand his ground, and continue his team's/NFL's merchandising strategies. Retail stores and their customers, and Redskin fan's are still going to want authentic gear. You can take a fabric marker and write Redskin's on a blank T-shirt, but if you wear it yo a game, you're going to get laughed at and ridiculed. Besides what kid would be seen wearing a fake or be seen with his Dad if dad was wearing a fake.
---
Anybody know the address of the US Patent & Trademark Office? I wanna get it to revoke the use of Representative for Congresspersons.. I can't remember the last time I wasn't offended by what they've been doing to my country.

Have you ever noticed that when the Mosqued Man's spinmeisters are on Fox, they speak so fast even the Fox mediator has a hard time finding a spot to interrupt/inject another thought/question/objection to incorrect data?
---
Some advocate has demanded that The Student Loan Ranger get busy flying back those 66,000+ minor children who crossed our borders illegally so far this year. He invited them when he said we would not send children back. Well, he has to do so...and collect to the country of origin.

HuffPost headline: "Obama may not need permission on Iraq" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought it said "position".
---
Instant replay - HuffPost headline/story: "Obama may not need permission on Iraq * President Barack Obama and congressional leaders believe he does not need authorization from Congress for some steps he might take to quell the al-Qaida-inspired insurgency sweeping through Iraq, the Senate's top Republican and Capitol Hill aides said after the president briefed senior lawmakers Wednesday." -- Like I said yesterday, when the Mosqued Man arranged for Boehner/McConnell to be in attendance, it was just a photo-op moment to make it look like the Republicans had input into what's already been decided.
---
The Mosqued Man has rejected air strikes against ISIS because he doesn't have "enough intelligence on the ground". Hmmm sounds more like there's a shortage of intelligence in the Oval Office.

---
Online headline/story: "Turkey Would Support Iraqi Kurds' Bid For Self-Rule, Spokesman Says In Historic Remark * The Kurds have been effectively autonomous since 1991, when the U.S. established a no-fly zone over northern Iraq. Turkey, a strong U.S. ally, has long opposed the creation of an independent Kurdistan so that its own eastern region would not be swallowed into it" -- Hmmm... so, in a sense, Turkey is about to "fly the coop".. boy does that bring back the WKRP classic line, ""As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly".

---
Online story: (Louisiana Governor Bobby) Jindal issued a series of executive orders calling for the state to come up with "Louisiana standards and a Louisiana test" in place of the "one size fits all" Common Core standards. * "We won’t let the federal government take over Louisiana’s education standards," Jindal read from a prepared statement at a Baton Rouge press conference. "We’re very alarmed about choice and local control over curriculum being taken away from parents and educators. Common Core has not been fully implemented yet in Louisiana, and we need to start the process over. It was rushed in the beginning and done without public input." * "The proponents of Common Core claim it is not a federal takeover, but Secretary Duncan's comments and actions prove otherwise," the statement continued. "He has already threatened Oklahoma (South Carolina and Indiana) with a loss of funding, and we may be next." -- To begin with.. education is, always has been, a states' rights issue, and not one federal program has actually added to.. even enhanced for an iota that matter, the classroom experiences our past, current nor future students need and deserve.

Now that Mayor Obamalinson has gotten her $244K RiverWalk combo of bath/throne room.. I can go on record that I really don't mind having a bathroom facility in the area.. what I object to is that "why are liberals' "good intentions" so over-the-top expensive and wasteful?
---
No wonder Mayor Obamalinson doesn't think $244K is out of touch with our needs..she's learning about spending from Chicago professionals.
---
HuffPost headline: "John Ruthell Henry Becomes 3rd Man Executed In 24 Hours" -- Oooops, my bad... first thought this was a slow weekend on the southside of Chicago...maybe it was caused by a line to get into a $244K bathroom to strip out the gold fixtures..
---
Speaking of Chicago.. we just had our 12th murder of this year and are on a record setting annual course.

---
Online story: ""New tools and technologies are making the building of things easier than ever," Obama told entrepreneurs and students who gathered at the White House at its first "Maker Faire." * Obama always seems engrossed by technological innovations, though he joked about the name "Maker Faire" as a gathering for new and creative products. * "Why is there an 'E' at the end of 'faire'?" he said. "Is there jousting? Do we all have to get dressed up, or what?....This is America. We don't have 'E's' at the end of 'fair.'" -- Hmmm.. has the mainstream media forgotten when that Mosqued Man left the "e" out of Aretha's hit "r-s-p-e-c-t". Perhaps now the mainstream media will forgive Dan Quayle...

---
Online story: "On Tuesday, during a Senate hearing on false diet-product ads, senators chided Dr. Oz for indirectly perpetuating ad scams. Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill, a Democrat, cited several examples. -- Hmmm, well, we know they're not in Kansas anymore, but why can Democrat Senators find time in Washington to investigate Dr. Oz but not AG Pric Holder, Benghazi/BeenHazy, IRS, or Tahmooressi's incarceration in Mexico?

----
Online quote source: "“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.” - Albert Einstein" -- Hmmm, now we know why there are no Einsteins in the mainstream media....
---
Online story: "A white professor is suing Alabama State University (ASU) over claims the historically black university discriminated against him and his partner based on their race and sexual orientation. * Dr. John Garland, who is a member of the Choctaw Nation but is identified as white by colleagues, was hired by the university in August 2008. * His white same-sex partner, Dr. Steven Chesbro, dean of COHS, was hired at the university around that time. They legally married in Maryland in February 2013. * the lawsuit states, Garland’s supervisor expressed his opinion, stated or implied, that Dr. Garland did not belong at the University and was not ‘suited to [the University’s] type of students’ because Dr. Garland is not African-American,” -- Hmmm, maybe "they" are right,,,there is some racism still alive in America.. Oh, when's the White House "beer summit 2014" being held?
---
So Leonardo DiCaprio now thinks our Oceans are the most endangered aspect of our children's future. Guess Algore just dropped off last week's "A-List".
---
L-E story: "Two senators unveiled a bipartisan plan Wednesday to raise federal gasoline and diesel taxes for the first time in more than two decades * The plan offered by Sens. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., and Bob Corker, R-Tenn., would raise the 18.4 cents-a-gallon federal gas tax and 24.4 cents-a-gallon diesel tax each by 12 cents over the next two years, and then index the taxes to keep pace with inflation" -- Another stupid Republican sucker play.. A Democrat will run against Corker for raising gas taxes during a recession, and all Democrats will point to the Republicans for being obstructionists when it doesn't pass.
---
L-E story: "CHICAGO — The flow of sand on the southernmost tip of Lake Michigan is out of balance, creating serious erosion in some places and too much sand in others, experts say. * After decades of treating the problem at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore in a more or less piecemeal fashion, the National Park Service is composing what it says is a comprehensive strategy to resolve the problem. * The person many point to as being responsible for complications swirling around Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is a president who generally basks in a flattering glow of history: John F. Kennedy." -- Heh heh heh... Ah! The root of the situation... the Democrats have strayed so far from the direction of JFK, they now have to discredit him. Kennedy preached lower taxes, so now the Democrats of today want to bury that thought by calling Kennedy an anti-environmentalist.
---
Gotta pass this along right now.. Trevor Immelman, former Master's Champion, and brother of our CSU Cougar's golf team, just double eagled the par 5 13th hole a few minutes ago in the Traveler's PGA tournament. For the not-sure-what-a-double-eagle-is few, he holed out his second shot on a par 5 golf hole.
---
Lying LIV's L-E "soundoff": As a lifelong Republican, I find it easier to allow the National Republican Party, Rush, Dumbo and the other talking heads to think for me. Doesn’t cost me any gray matter that way." -- This must have been a "Dusty Nix" selfie taken during a Kool-Aid party at the L-E.
---
You know... if every state passed a new $15.00 minimum wage, our government entitlement agencies would boost the welfare checks higher than that in order to keep recipients on "the hook", and their jobs safe from elimination.
---
L-E story: " Instead of having to drill and fill cavities, dentists could head them offat the pass with a new technique that accelerates a tooth’s natural healing, King’s College London announced this week. * Electrically accelerated and enhanced remineralization would take the reversal of decay to the next level. *
“Not only is our device kinder to the patient and better for their teeth, but it’s expected to be at least as cost-effective as current dental treatments,” Pitts of King’s College said. He said the technique could be used to whiten teeth as well" -- Hmmm... faster, cheaper, easier.. sounds like the toothpaste/white strip industry will buy the patents and bury them..
---
L-E story: " TRIPOLI, Libya — The Libyan government on Wednesday denied it had prior knowledge of the U.S. capture of a top suspect in the deadly 2012 assault on Americans in Benghazi and demanded his return." -- Hey, Hillary.. why don't you speak up now.. "what difference does it make"?
---
L-E editorila comment: "So-called Abstinence Only sex “education” is still probably the most absurd public health oxymoron, but a Don’t Want To Know survey ranks right up there. The good news: Georgia teen smoking rates are at record low levels. That presumably means fewer teenagers will be having a cigarette after sex." -- As usual.. the L-E is out of the loop... teens are switching to e-cigs ...
---
Wow.. John Wells must have felt a little payback for his game of embarrass-the-promotees-and-their-families-and-the-School-Superintendent he orchestrated.. when Nathan Smith flayed Wells open on his past chairmanship of School Board finances. How can Rob Varner sleep for not letting Smith finish...q;-)
---
L-E story: "Joaquin Richards sees his promotion from assistant principal to principal at Smiths Station High School as a blessing personally as well as professionally. * That’s because Richards, a 1984 graduate of Smiths, is a lifelong resident of Lee County. He has worked his entire 25-year career as an educator in his home system, where his wife, Carol, is assistant principal at Wacoochee Elementary and their children, rising ninth-grader Catherine and rising seventh-grader Eli, attend there as well." -- Hmmm, how novel.. promoting someone who lives and breathes his community.. Too bad school boards think that's a turn off in hiring School Superintendents...
---
L-E story: "A Columbus police officer was treated at Midtown Medical Center Tuesday morning after he was attacked in his yard in the 200 block of Lee Road 404 in Smiths, Ala. * The Lee County Sheriff’s Office didn’t identify the officer but said he was treated by emergency medical personnel before he was taken to the Columbus hospital. He was treated for a knot to the back of his head and a swollen right arm after the 5 a.m. CDT assault. * Officials said the officer was dressed in his uniform and wore a duty belt when he went to his car to retrieve an item. In the yard, the officer heard a male voice asking for help." -- We all hope this unnamed Columbus officer will recover with no permanent injuries, and that the perpetrator will get "his due" from the legal system, but what was a Columbus police officer doing with a Columbus Police car being driven to his Smith, AL home?

Baseball has lost two of the really good guys recently, and way too young.. Tony Gwynn of the Padres, and now Joe "Shoes" Pittman. Pittman played here for our hey-day-time-AA-Columbus-Astros. Prayers for their families.

You know.. there has been an awful lot of emphasis on the number of guns in the hands of Americans in the past few years, but did you know that there are more cellphones than guns in the US? In fact, there are more cellphones than US population numbers Tell you what.. I'll take my chances of survival from drivers holding guns than from drivers holding cellphones.
