Online headline: "Obama Gave Warning to Boehner" -- Well,
well, well... pot-US Obluster must be feeling some heat... that's the first
thing Obluster has given any Republican in four years!
---
Story from above: "Online story: "Mr. Obama repeatedly lost patience with
the speaker as negotiations faltered. In an Oval Office meeting last week, he
told Mr. Boehner that if the sides didn't reach agreement, he would use his
inaugural address and his State of the Union speech to tell the country the
Republicans were at fault." -- DOH? Even if he's not blaming Bush43 or the
Republicans in general, his spinmeisters and media minions are doing it for him.
Do you really think he's not going to blame them anyway. Look what he did to the
Supreme Court a couple of years back, and how the media chastised Joe Wilson for
stating the obvious, "You LIE!".

Online headline/story: "Madonna Threatens To Cancel Show Because Of Smokers
In Crowd In Santiago, Chile * * The singer was soundchecking when she noticed
that some in the crowd had lit cigarrettes. After suddenly cutting off her
performance of "Human Nature," she began berating the crowd. * There are people
smoking right now," she said. "No smoking. If you're going to smoke cigarettes,
I'm not doing a show. You don't care about me, I don't care about you. All
right? Are we going to play that game? I'm not kidding. I can't sing if you
smoke ... You're looking right at me and smoking cigarettes, like I'm a stupid
f---ing idiot," Madonna said, then stormed off the stage." -- Huh? After years
of smoking on stage in front of our children, strutting arouns in lingerie, and
finding ways to use the "f-word" as often and as a noun, verb, adjective, and
adverb, she has the gall to get upset when her fans mimic her? Well, she got one
thing right, she is " like a stupid 'f---ing idiot'! May her children find
copies of her book, "Sex", and present them to her to autograph on some futuire
"Mother's Day"..
---
There's a Hollywood catch-word floating about... "reality star". I guess
it's a way to title performers on some of those stupid 'reality shows'. Since
there is nothing truly 'real' about a 'reality show', I guess being a 'reality
star' is about as oxymoronic as it gets.

Online headline/story: "Suzy Favor Hamilton fallout: Disney distances
itself from admitted call girl * Hamilton, a three-time member of the U.S.
Olympic track team and a 44-year-old mother, admitted Thursday to working as a
$600-an-hour escort. News of her admission to being a sex worker set of a flurry
of questions and flood of controversy." -- I guess because she was straight it
creates a problem for Disney. With what Disney shows on ABC Family, it sure
can't be worried about her not being family fare.

WRBL3 story: "Georgians in 46 (of 159) counties will soon be paying higher
sales taxes in order to pay for better roads. * The extra penny-per-dollar tax
for transportation projects was rejected by voters in most of the state last
July. But three of the 12 regions that approved it will be paying the new tax
starting New Year's Day. * State officials estimate the tax will generate $152
million in its first year and $1.8 billion over 10 years to widen highways,
install new traffic lights and repair aging bridges. * The money will go to 13
east Georgia counties including the city of Augusta, and a 16-county region in
west Georgia that includes Columbus and Americus. The third region covers 17
southeast Georgia counties that include the cities of Dublin, Vidalia and
Jesup." -- Hmmm, you know, this is sorta like building an unconnected chain from
3 different starting points. Since they'll never get connected to anything else;
what's the improvement or point here?
---
We can blame Obama voters for the T-SPLOST tax... no voter for Obama thinks
any tax is going to affect them personally, and they might get a share of it, so
they'll vote for any tax that comes up for vote.

Online headline: "Court Blocks Calif. Law Banning Gay Conversion Therapy"
-- seems California can't make up it's mind... but I guess that's what the issue
is about.

L-E headline/story: "CONSUMER SPENDING
ROSE 0.4 PERCENT IN NOVEMBER * WASHINGTON — Consumers spent and earned more in
November, reflecting a rebound from the disruptions caused by Superstorm Sandy.
" -- That sounds pretty weak to me considering how much merchandise
Sandy-affected people had to buy to replace the destroyed and missing elements
of their lives.
---
L-E headline: "Stocks sink after
Republicans cancel budget vote" -- What did the major brokerage houses expect
after supporting pot-US Obluster? I just hope they are 'long' versus 'short' in
the market....Unfortunately, deep-down, we know the brokerages are set to profit
from a fall.
---
L-E headline: "Kerry has overcome some
political disappointments" -- The defeat to Bush43 and snub by pot-US Obluster
appointing Hillary as Sec of State in the first term not withstanding, I'm
nominating his getting caught and 'outed' mooring his new yacht in Rhode Island
for about six months so he would avoid the heavier taxes that he would have to
pay if he brought it into Massachusetts earlier than the 6 months is his biggest
disappointment, well, second biggest. He still wakes up next to
Teresa....

Hmmmm, an honest liberal's L-E
"soundoff": " My comedy channel is Fox News. My news channel is
Comedy Central." -- Hey, finding a honest liberal is not an easy task.
---
Hollywood's defense of it's violence in movies/video
games is that they use prop guns, blanks, fake machetes, fake body parts,
computer graphics and disclaimers. What they can't deny is that those "visual
aids" are just as impacting, just as desensitizing as a first hand exposure to
the real thing, and even worse when you see it over and
over.
---
We have
a rampant, a violent subculture that pulls out guns to settle things, and it's
killing us...literally. It's time we address the root cause and confiscate
current models and ban all future sales oh Nike Air-Jordans.
---
If you haven't contacted your Congresspersons, think about these people who
would be on the Washington, DC Senatorial candidates' list: former Mayor Marion
Berry, current Washington, DC Mayor Vincent Gray, the Rev-er-end Jesse Jackson,
ex-Congresman Weiner, ex-Congressman Frank, former Senator Chris Dodd, or heaven
forbid, former Secretaries of State Powell and Clinton.....or Xpot-US Clinton
himself! Imagine both Clinton's winning Senate
seats.....uggggggggggggggggggggggggh.
---
How come Mark Shelnutt's name is on the lawsuit filed against local elected
officials? Wasn't he banned for Columbus for the next couple of tears or so?
Maybe a judge will rush this case to court real soon, and Shelnutt could be
picked up for some sort of parole/sentence violation. Just like the image
perceived of Michael Curry's rage scene, Shelnutt will just not go away.

L-E headline/story: "Boeing engineers use spuds to improve in-air
Wi-Fi * Engineers at Chicago-based Boeing Co. used sacks of potatoes as
stand-ins for passengers as they worked to eliminate weak spots in in-flight
wireless signals. They needed full planes to get accurate results during signal
testing, but they couldn't ask people to sit motionless for days while data was
gathered. * It turns out that potatoes - because of their water content
and chemistry - absorb and reflect radio wave signals much the same way as the
human body does, making them suitable substitutes for airline passengers." --
Wow! Who'da thunk that the phrase "couch potato" was so accurate?
--
If Congress wants effective gun control, Congress only has to adapt rules
on the books, and work with the Court system to do so. Simply pass a new law
that if a criminal fires a gun not legally obtained/owned by said criminal while
committing any felony crime, make it an unappealable death sentence that gets
carried out the same day as the verdict.

l-E picture depicting Egyptian voters:
Hmmm... aside from obviously praying (which is probably banned here) for
Allah's guidance, notice they have removed their shoes. If that was a custom
here, it would be like using chemical warfare to run voters off from polling
places.
---
L-E headline: "Annual bird counts give scientists climate
clues " -- "clues"? What kind of "bird counts' are we talking about... the ones
liberals give when real scientists pooh-pooh such claims?
