Online headline: "Sandy Aftermath: FEMA Trailers Sitting Unused, Despite
Thousands Still Powerless In New York" -- Well, well, well.... Katrina
disaster... Sandy disaster... Hey media... is the problem Bush 43 AND potUS
Obluster, or is it like Romney said... FEMA is a disaster in itself?
---
Online headline/story: "Calif. liberals say tax-hiking Prop. 30 could be
model for U.S. *
Groups like Mobilize the Immigrant Vote, the California Teacher’s Assn. and
the Courage Campaign coordinated closely, dividing up the electorate so they did
not duplicate efforts and targeting minority groups and students, among others.
* They explained how raising the sales tax a quarter-cent for four years and
increasing levies on top income earners by 1 to 3 percentage points for seven
years would forestall another year of huge budget slashing in Sacramento."
-Hmmm, so the results over 7 years will pay for 1 year of not slashing the
budget.....what about the following 6 years? Maybe we do need to give illegal
aliens "amnesty" if they live in/move to California, AND transfer Congressman
Hank Johnson (D-GA) to represent California. Under his representation, we could
hope California would break off under the surge of illegal aliens moving there,
and break off and sink into the ocean.
---
Online headline: "Nike Threatens To Take Its Talents Elsewhere Without Tax
Break Guarantee" -- Well, we can be sure Nike won't move to California... but if
NIKE wants a tax break, it will have to move outside the realm of potUS
Obluster.
---
What Boehner should counter potUS Obluster with is a wage cut and freeze
for all non-military government salaries as of January 1, 2012, and a
hiring/growth freeze until government employees attrition to 2009 levels
effective until the National Debt reverses to below the $10 trillion level when
potUS Obluste took office. Throw all 'grants' (earmarks) in there, too!
---
WRBL3 headline: "Sheriff to inspect games for Victoryland casino restart"
-- Hmmm, better check the campaign contributions received by this every future
Sheriff of Macon County.

From a fellow BCer:
The new symbol of the HELL-thScare bill

You would think network TV would have to have a law forbidding ambulance
chasers from coattail ads of venerable TV lawyers like Matlock of Perry Mason...
but they don't.
---
An anonymous donor has contributed $1 million for scholarships to
California colleges..... for illegal aliens! As un-American as this is, we will
actually be paying a big hunk of this as the anonymous (_@_) will deduct "the
gift" from his taxes!
---
Thanks to a fellow BCer for the reminder: It's Christmas time. Don't forget
the ACLU when you're sending out your Christmas cards. Also suggest the ACLU
file a civil fights case against the US government for discrimination against
taxing Americans who earn higher incomes higher rates than others. Mail to the
ACLU at 125 Broad Street, 18th Floor, New York
NY 10004.

Why hasn't potUS Obluster made an apology for the actions of union thugs at
a rally for Michigan's right-to-work law? Obluster fired up the union thugs into
a frenzy, and the results were violent.
---
Bob Beckel, DUMBERat commentator on Fox News's "The Five", commented that
the 23 states that have right-to-work laws (with Michigan becoming the 24th)
referred to voters of those states as "yahoos" and that those states basically
were the states that voted for Romney. Where is the mainstream media indignation
at such a broad stereotyping of voters? What would the mainstream media be doing
if Romney called voters for potUS Obluster "stupid ignoramus slackers"? Oh, the
media has already jumped on him for implying that.
---
Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "As I rush out
to grab up bargains made in other countries by child and slave labor in
despicable working conditions, let me wish you Happy Holidays. Maybe Christ
wants out. " -- The writer is obviously NOT a Christian....Christians are not
the ones who have lost sight of the 'reason for the season'. Merry Christmas to
all!
---
L-E story: "NEW YORK — TV viewing could soon sound a little
calmer. The CALM Act, which limits the volume of TV commercials, goes into
effect today. * CALM stands for
Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation. The act is designed to prevent TV
commercials from blaring at louder volumes than the program content they
accompany. The rules govern broadcasters as well as cable and satellite
operators." -- Yes!

Having
recently paid my child's college tuition, I looked up college costs for 1960-61.
The most expensive college tuition that year was at Harvard (natch) and a full
year's tuition was a staggering $2,370.00. Duke cost $1,475.00 annually. My
daughter's UGA 'student fees' for 2013 alone are going to cost $2,200.00 whether
she attends classes or not.

CSU
football?... that'll blow Title 9 out of the water! Hmmm, maybe a new name will
be in the CSU future... say The CSU "Whitewater Tide"?
---
From
L-E editorial: "Human Resources Director Tom
Barron said the clinic will save money for city employees, save money for
taxpayers, and provide better and more affordable health maintenance for its
patients." -- Who's feet do we hold to the fire 5, 10, 15 years from now if this
isn't the case?
---
Liberal's L-E letter: "This January, core government functions such as
scientific research, education, public safety, and environmental protection will
face deep cuts under budget sequestration" -- And from which Constitution is
this writer citing? Those categories of expenses are surely not included in the
responsibilities of government as penned by our Founding
Fathers.
---
L-E story: "Mayor
Teresa Tomlinson posted on her Facebook page that the city is looking for an
artist to design and take charge of a "community painting" of a large mural on
the renovated Boxwood Recreation Center. * Interested? You can send the mayor a
FB message or email Crime Prevention Director Seth Brown at
sbrown@columbusga.org." -- In 500 words or less, would someone please explain
how vandalism, whether authorized or not, qualifies as a project for LOST
"public safety" funds?
