Online headline/story: "Jerry Sandusky Seeks A Less Restrictive Prison" -- HARRISBURG, Pa. -- A lawyer for former Penn State assistant Jerry Sandusky said Friday his client has gotten his fighting spirit back after his child abuse conviction and sentencing and hopes prison officials will find a way to house him under less restrictive conditions than he currently experiences." -- "a less restrictive prison"? I think the victims of Sandusky should seek that Sandusky and this lawyer be thrown naked into a solitary confinement cell for the rest of the sentence.

The US Supreme Court is hearing two cases concerning gay marriages. One, a DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) challenge, and also California's Proposition 8 law. I have 1 question my self that I would like the US Supreme Court to explain: How did Californians pass Proposition 8 AND overwhelmingly vote for potUS Obluster?

The MCSD is at it again.. At the CRHS Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, the Clubview Elementary chorus gave us a school board approved rendition of "We Wish You a Swinging Holiday".

The new President/CEO of Columbus Regional Hospital System is one Ryan R Chandler. Mr Chandler is in his thirties(or a very young looking 40ish). This brings to mind: Why is it that the MCSD Board cannot find candidates for the superintendent job who aren't ready to retire even before hiring them?
---
It's a shame that the Columbus Regional Hospital's lighting of the Tree of Lights and the Uptown's "blizzard" couldn't have been scheduled on different nights so all could enjoy both.

How can the Department of Labor stand up with a straight face and claim unemployment is 7.7%? Then, after the DoL announced a drop on unemployed numbers to 7.7%, the DoL announced that 350,000 more "dropped out" of the workforce. Hmmm, bet they were all potUS Obluster voters who thought the check for voting for Obluster is going to be coming the rest of their lives; or they think they hit the lottery.

The enemies of the US in WWII were Japan, Germany, and Italy. Today's wartime enemies are just as well defined but many sit in Washington or are media voices who've adopted terrorist tactics of hiding behind schools and churches so they won't be fired at

L-E story: "With little fanfare and a little cosmetic work left to do, the city removed the barricades and opened the roundabout at the northern end of Weracoba Park to traffic Friday. * In the roundabout, drivers simply yield to traffic to the left and proceed around to the right * Contractors still have to put down thermoplastic crosswalk markings, but “that didn’t seem enough of a reason to keep people out of it,” said Deputy City Manager David Arrington." -- Hmmm... Let me get this straight....the 'roundabout' has been built so cars don't have to stop, but crosswalks for pedestrians are being installed, and state law says cars must stop for pedestrians in crosswalks... I think the Mayor and Council should have a ribbon cutting during rush hour; maybe then they'll fire the traffic engineer who dreamed this scenario up.

Dimon Kendrick-Holmes's column on the lottery brought up some aspects generally not delved into by the media, but one other aspect would be how many lottery players think about half of their participation is a tax funding lottery officials jobs, lottery expenses, and funds for scholarships to free day care and GA colleges?
---
The L-E has run a two part article from its parent (McClatchy) company. Other than us finding out that the McClatchy writer thinks the CIA recruiting a 19 year old college freshman for an intense espionage position was credible, what was the purpose of the series? It wasted trees is all else I got out of it.

potUS Obluster going after the least sympathetic people (highest income bracket) is the same tactic Hitler used to overcome the German people. Once Obluster has devasted the most productive, he'll go after the next level of less-sympathetic people until he's suddenly standing on the doorstep of middle-class Americans, which by then, will have no one with the ability to stand up for them. Stand up strong, REPUBLICANS!
