Interesting facts are emerging:

1 - "Despite Obama's promises to crack down on Wall Street, federal prosecutions of financial fraud hit a 20-year low last year, according to a November study from a watchdog group. * The number of these types of prosecutions has been falling every year since 1999 -- in other words, there were more prosecutions during every year of George W. Bush's presidency than during every year of Obama's. "

---

2 - The rich took home a greater share of America's income pie from 2009 to 2010 than they did between 2002 and 2007, according to an April analysis from Emmanuel Saez, a professor at the University of California, Berkeley. That means the gap between the rich and the poor was more pronounced under Obama's presidency than under George W. Bush's."

---

3 - "At the end of 2011, five big banks, including Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase, held 56 percent of the U.S. economy, according to Bloomberg, compared to 43 percent five years earlier. That's right, the too-big-to-fail banks have actually gotten bigger.

---

4 - "Median household income fell 6.7 percent between June 2009, when the recession technically ended, and June 2011, according to a Census Bureau study cited by The New York Times. That's more than the 3.2 percent incomes fell during the recession, between 2007 and 2009.

Online headline/story: "9 (Democrat) judges charged with Philly traffic ticket fixing * Philadelphia ward leaders and Democratic City Committee associates, along with family and friends, regularly contacted the judges to seek help with traffic tickets. Judges would trade favors if the case wasn't assigned to them and would either dismiss or reduce the ticket, helping people avoid steep fines and points on their licenses, authorities charged." -- Rumor has it they all have Eric Holder pictures on their office walls.

The vision of the River Restoration Committee has blurred over the years. Whether it changes its name legally or not, the Restoration Committee has become "The Committee to Pave the Chattahoochee".

So the DUMBERats are eager to send women to the front lines of a war situation...sounds pretty much like pot-US Obluster pretty much had declared his own war on women.

---

Question: Why would anyone be surprised that the 4th quarter economy would be better than it actually was? When the election was over, any body working put a lock on their wallets.

---

Remember the jobs panel pot-US Obluster created with 24 industry leaders? Seems he only met with them 3 or 4 times, the most recent over a year ago. Now, they have been terminated, so the panel had a net loss of 24 jobs.

---

Oh! There's new and unexpected falling out on Obamacare. The unions are seeing their costs go up, and coverage going down, but don't get your hopes up... the union leaders will be out blaming that on the Republicans, and they will support the next DUMBERat offering as well.

---

Chuck Hagel brought most of his family to his confirmation hearing. Obviously he hadn't heard about what doing that in front of a DUMBERat panel, whether in Washington or the MCSD, will do.

---

McClatchy online story: "In a stunning reversal of course Wednesday, the Vietnamese government freed Elk Grove (California) pro-democracy activist Nguyen Quoc Quan after nine months in prison and deported him to California." -- "deported him to California"? Even Vietnam recognizes that California doesn't represent the other 49 states. The next question is what will California do with a radical pro-democracy protestor?

---

Must be a new record! At least for pot-US Obluster.. Less than a hour after yesterday's prediction on who gets the blame for the collapsing the economy, Jay Carney was out parroting pot-US Obluster's claim it was the Republicans.

---

Tornados hit the South... again. Hey, FEMA...stay in NY & NJ (if they still want you), we'll take care of our own.

A fellow BCer posted on her Facebook account that she wishes she had a handbook on growing older. No handbook for me! Knowing the future infirmities would make me somewhat cynical. I'd rather stay pragmatic.

L-E story: "Nathaniel Smith, club manager at Club Majestic, was charged with no ABC card and nine counts of allowing underage people into the club, Capt. Gil Slouchick said Thursday afternoon. * Club owner James Weaver was also charged with no ABC card. " -- Excuse me, but how were any liquor licenses procured without proof of such cards?
---
Regardless of the short term results of the DUMBERat assault on our 2nd Amendment rights, we must remain vigilant, and encourage replacing as many DUMBERats in the Senate and the House in 2014. Do not believe any DUMBERat's plea that he/she is not going to support the party line once he/she gets to Washington.

I'm curious... since we're entering the 2nd (or is it 3rd) year of Mayor Obamalinson's "End Homelessness in 10 Years" program, why is Council taking over Claflin to use as an expanded Homeless Resource Center?

Picture of CSU students visiting the GA State Capitol building published in the L-E:

Well, at least the paper said it was CSU students.. Oh, that must be them behind the row of politicians. Shoulda known, I guess, since politicians always place themselves ahead of their constituents.

Oh, an exception to the above "rule": Pop Barnes.
