Online story: "(The NYC-to-NJ) George Washington Bridge saw a record number of suicides last year, with 18 people leaping to their deaths." -- Well, why doesn't Mayor Bloomberg or pot-US Obluster write an Executive Order to make that illegal!

---

Online story: "People in Colorado are outraged over an anti-immigrant bumper sticker with a violent message, NBC affiliate 9 News reports. * Intended as a joke for people who find the idea of killing immigrants funny, the sticker reads “illegal immigrant hunting permit” over a map of the continental United States. “No bag limit -- tagging not required,” the sticker says." -- Hey...it's a joke, Colorado... just light up a joint and kick back since you're not outraged at legalizing marijuana.

From the 'it's not one world department' - Online story: "A young mother was burned alive in Papua New Guinea this week after townspeople accused her of being a witch. *According to multiple reports, Kepari Leniata, 20, was tortured and killed in front of a mob of hundreds in the town of Mount Hagen. The woman, stripped naked and covered in gasoline, was burned alive on a pile of trash by relatives of a young boy who had died earlier in the week. The relatives had accused Leniata of killing him with sorcery." - Whew.. a Pacific version of sharia law?

Online story: "Christopher Dorner — the shooting suspect who allegedly killed a police officer on Thursday — mailed a package to Anderson Cooper, CNN revealed on Thursday. * "The package arrived on the first of February and was opened by Cooper's assistant," Blitzer reported. * Cooper, along with the rest of CNN's editorial staff and management, learned about the package on Thursday. He joined Blitzer on air, and explained, "I did not know of its existence until today." -- Hmm, bet Cooper will now come on air and ask the Republicans to resign for doubting Hillary's denial.

Online headline/story: "Drones Memo Not Shared With Senate Staffers: Dianne Feinstein * “Our staff were banned from seeing it this morning,” Feinstein told John Brennan at a hearing on his confirmation as CIA director. “We have lawyers and very good staff. This is upsetting to a number of members. We depend on our staff because you can't take material home. You can't take notes with you, so the staff becomes very important.” * President Barack Obama ordered the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel to provide the secret memorandum * of their staff couldn’t see the memo. * “The reason for providing information just to key members at times is to ensure that it is kept in a limited basis,” Brennan said." -- Yeah, right... just another cover-up that the MSMedia want be able to pump the "undisclosed sources" it usually has access to.

WRBL3 headline: "Mayor explains possible changes to Columbus' property tax freeze" -- Hmmm, is it really a new tax plan we need or is it a new Mayor we need?

---

After listening to Panetta "testify", we can only conclude that if politicians would cover the concerns/needs of its citizens half as well as they do covering their butts, this country would be much better off than it is now.

The cost details for ObamaCare are 'leaking' out. Now IRS is saying that people earning up to $78,000.00 won't be fined for not securing a health insurance plan because the cost exceed the conditions laid out in the ObamaCare law. Now 40 million of the 49 million who didn't have insurance still won't have it nor will be fineable if they don't.

pot-US Obluster's political campaign donation site has changed it's spots. Now it's "Organizing for Action", and sending out stories about illegal aliens living in America. One such was brought in at 2 and went to our public school system right into college until that state changed the rules to keep illegal aliens out. Now he's completed his law degree at some undisclosed school, and is campaigning for the Dream Act at immigration reform. Question: Since he is a criminal, how did he pass a background check to get into a law school and get degreed to practice in America?
---
Following up, how can the President of this country solicit names and addresses of illegal aliens and not turn those facts over to INS?
---
In an unprecedented act, pot-US Obluster has converted www.barackobama.com from a political campaign fund-raising site to a 501 (c) 4 corporation and renamed it "Organizing for Action". Donor names have been kept; I must assume campaign donations have been converted to this use as well, but now, the new corporation want have to list donors or cap donation amounts, and many will become tax deductible. Welcome to social welfare tax deductions for getting illegal aliens on the voting rolls.

From a fellow BCer:

Hmmm, a vivid reminder of government actions, and the reason history will repeat itself if forgotten (or removed from school histiry books).
---
I'm sure Eugene White would have made a good superintendent of he was brought in 5 or 10 years ago, but the man is 65, fully eligible for retirement, and would only be double dipping his income by changing states. Keep looking.
---
On the other hand, why would a school board buy out a contract of someone who wants to retire anyway?
---
L-E headline: "Search firm more interested in skill than experience in library director" -- Can't thr MCSD and Library board figure out a better use for $18,000.00 than to hire some firm to pick out an office manager? There are plenty of qualified people in Columbus with office management skills who can do this, and the City could save considerable funds by picking one of these.
---
Low-info liberal's L-E "soundoff" -- "Before Benghazi, Congress cut $300 million in consulate security funds. After Benghazi, the House voted down $1.3 billion in consulate security funds left over from Iraq. GOP, your actions speak louder than your words." -- The writer's anger should be directly aimed at Hillary Clinton. The State Department has its own budget and the funds to improve security were all ready available, just not done.
