Online headline: "Joe Biden Says No Need To Own Assault Weapons: 'Buy A
Shotgun!'" -- Yeah, put weapons of mass destruction in the hands of psycho's.
They won't even have to be aimed very well, and each shot could kill multiple
people. Yeah, way to go, Joe!

When my broker talks to me about investing, he talks about
corporate/business trends, goals, and dividends/return on investments I can
expect. When pot-US 00-Obama tells me about where he's going to invest money
he's taking out of my wallet, he doesn't tell me what profit I'll be seeing, he
just tells me I will be broker.

Online story: "(Homeland Security Secretary Janet) Napolitano toured the
(Arizona-Mexican) border Tuesday afternoon with U.S. Customs and Border
Protection Deputy Commissioner David Aguilar, Democratic Rep. Ron Barber of
Arizona and Democratic Sen. Tom Carper of Delaware. Carper is the incoming
chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. * She said
in a statement after the tour that border crossings are down 50 percent since
2008 and 78 percent since their peak in 2000." -- Just confirms the weakness of
the 00-Bama economy doesn't draw new illegal aliens, BUT the entitlement
programs keep the ones already here hooked rather than going back to their
homelands.
---
Gas prices are at their highest prices ever for any February time frame.
That will be pot-US 00-Obama's true legacy.
---
pot-US 00-Obama hasn't met with Republican leaders this year over budget
items, and he blames the pending sequestration on Republicans not compromising.
The whole amount we're talking about is $85 Billion of expected spending of $3.8
Trillion. That's a shade over .02% of the 00-Obama check kiting plan (can't call
it a budget since none has been voted on). The government could save .02% simply
by limiting bills to 10 or less pages of rhetoric.

Online presentation as"fact": "In 1998, media mogul Ted Turner donated $1
billion to start the United Nations Foundation. Turner plans to continue giving,
saying that his fortune should be almost completely distributed to charity at
the time of his death." -- Hmmm, I remember when Turner 'pledged' $1 Billion
over 10 years. Then the AOL price took a huge tumble as his fortune. Maybe he's
finished his 10 year pledge now, but since there hasn't been a big Turner
'fanfare', I do wonder. Hey, no problem with his pledge, but he did it to
grandstand, and how effective is the UN at getting anything done?

A GA prisoner about to die received another last minute stay of execution
because some psycho-docs changed their minds from previous diagnoses. The state
of Georgia should sue them for refunds for their first diagnoses, and decertify
their licenses to practice in GA.

NYC Mayor Bloomberg not only has been meddling in Chicago politics, now
he's publishing a "Most Wanted 25" list of mentally challenged people in NYC.
Lawyers are already lining up on race, and handicap issues. Next lawyers will be
lining up on discriminating against the mentally ill who want to buy a AR-15 for
home defense. We don't need more gun laws, we just need fewer lawyers.
---
Another online presentation as "fact": "Mayor of New York City Michael R.
Bloomberg plans to give away the majority of his wealth during his lifetime,
explaining that it is a better way to ensure a better future for his children
than leaving them to inherit his fortune. According to Bloomberg, his foundation
is currently working to find ways to prevent early deaths caused by tobacco use
and traffic accidents." -- Nice liberal "facts", but the reality of it is that
he's spending it on his own political viewpoints... buying his own mayoral
position, and influencing Chicago politics of late. Besides, he could do a lot
more for society finding ways to prevent street gang killings versus deaths by
tobacco or traffic accidents.
---
Online quote source: "Good people do not need laws to tell them to act
responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws," Plato" --
DOH!
---
Why is there all this concern by the NAACP for the Claflin School
building...NOW? We've all watched it sit in disgusting repair, a blatant eyesore
for all of Columbus, for decades under the MCSD rule, and now someone wants to
'save' it?
---
Online story: "The $1 million reward for deceased cop killer Christopher
Dorner will be paid out, if LAPD police chief Charle Beck has his way." -- Wait
a minute... the reward was offered by the City of Los Angeles itself. That's tax
dollars to begin with and should go towards offsetting the costs of ridding
humanity of Dorner.
---
Online headline: "Manti Te'o Faces Major Test As NFL's Combine Begins" --
Nah... that's all in his mind.
---
Now pot-US 00-Bama is acting indignant at China's cyber-attacks on our
utility companies and military files. China will counter that it is already a
co-owner of those files.
---
Here's a couple question I haven't seen asked or answered by Pistorius:
Were you sleeping when you heard noises and grabbed your gun, and how long does
it take to put on both prosthetics while holding a gun?
---
Online story: "WASHINGTON (AP) — With scant snowfall and barren ski slopes
in parts of the Midwest and Northeast the past couple of years, some scientists
have pointed to global warming as the culprit. * Then when a whopper of a
blizzard smacked the Northeast with more than 2 feet of snow in some places
earlier this month, some of the same people again blamed global warming. * How
can that be? It's been a joke among skeptics, pointing to what seems to be a
brazen contradiction. * But the answer lies in atmospheric physics. A warmer
atmosphere can hold, and dump, more moisture, snow experts say. And two
soon-to-be-published studies demonstrate how there can be more giant blizzards
yet less snow overall each year. Projections are that that's likely to continue
with man-made global warming." -- Whatta liberal mantra... regardless of the
facts, libs will make whatever they want be the result of their 'facts'. When
will libs figure out God laughs at their plans, facts, and 'reasoning'.
---
Online story: "For David Axelrod, the great cash-in is beginning. Today,
NBC and MSNBC announced they’ve hired Axelrod as a “senior political analyst,”
to appear exclusively on their networks." -- Remember when Axelrod would have
paid to be on NBC?
---
Online headline: "
Ivy League professor stripped to
underwear in quantum mechanics lecture
Professor Emlyn Hughes played footage
of Hitler and 9/11 on a screen
Stunned Columbia University students
filmed the bizarre lecture
--- And parents pay $22,000.00 per semester to have their kids in this
classroom. Hmmm, wonder if potUS 00-Bama took this class?
---
Online story: "While Colorado is debating gun-control, against the will of
their citizens, one of their politicians is wanting to arm their women with
WHISTLES! * File this under the heading of most absurd statements by a
politician, Re. Joe Salazar wants women to blow a whistle while being raped
instead of letting them arm themselves with a gun. This has apparently been
suggested by a Colorado University." -- Guess what party Salazar belongs? It was
never mentionedin this story, but he is a DUMBERat. Who has a war on
women?????
---
potUS 00-Bama's sudden "philanthropic urge" to raise the minimum wage 25%
is suspect at a minimum. First ripple effect is that union contracts are tied to
the federal minimum wage, and union pay scales get that boost as well. The other
ripple effect would be the influx of tax and FICA withholdings. Sure, the wage
earner would get his/her portion back in refunds, but the government will retain
the wage earners' and employers' matching FICA payments.

Another low-info liberal (sorta redundant, isn't it) L-E "soundoff": " Deep
cuts in the military started under George W. Bush; they have not stopped under
Obama. The problem is it’s the natural progression of politics. Get a life. " --
Arrggghhhh!!!!! Following the terrorist attack on 9-11-01, it took President
Bush 18 months to rebuild the military in order to respond forcefully to the
Saddam Hussein regime. Clinton had basically dismantled our
military.
---
L-E story: "Students from area elementary, middle and high
schools participated in the Muscogee County School District Social Science
Fair. * First place winners were: Connor
Yancey, Austin Baker, Audrianna Wilson, Alaysia Brown, Jasmine Tatum, Brooklyn
Bohannon, Christine Ashmore, Kayla Hasting, Kristen Kolb, Rebecca Jones ,
Kaitlyn Clarke, Holly Jewel, Cristina Wilde, Logan Cole, Jessica Davis,
Jazzylove Tolbert, Tyler Snook, Kody LaPlace, Mia Bordeaux, Mya Milner, Sage
Konans, Mailee Allen and Trenton Smith." -- Wouldn't it be nice if the MCSD
officials had identified the schools these young students attend so we could see
where better efforts are being made in science and math? Of course, revealing
the schools could be embarrassing to the MC school system
itself.
---
One thing about DUMBERat entitlement programs.... DUMBERats can sit around
and blame government for the programs not working.
---
L-E editorial picture:
This guy Bennett is the ultimate low-info liberal cartoonist in the nation
(thus a favorite of the L-E). If potUS 00-Bama is out in front of an issue, it's
for certain he is not 'pulling' his own weight, much less leading country in the
right direction.
---
L-E story: "AMESBURY, Mass. — A private
collection of John F. Kennedy memorabilia brought in almost $2 million at
auction, including $570,000 for the former president’s Air Force One leather
bomber jacket. " -- Wait a minute... wouldn't that jacket have been government
paid/issued, and the proceeds belong to the people of America?
---
How about a lilltle, no, A LOT of BC
support for a fellow BCer aiming at taking the top spot in the GA GOP.
Call/e-mail/write/text anyone you know that has influence.
---
L-E headline/story: "Library asked to trim budget before renovating
* The 8-year-old library was a $50.4 million
project funded by a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax. The proposed
renovation would cost about $1 million and be spread over three years." -- Eight
years into the life of a new library building, and it needs a $1,000,000.00
renovation? It's easy to point at normal wear and tear on carpet, but why would
cheap carpet have been installed to begin with, and how much carpet does it take
to approach $1,000,000.00? There's a lot more that needs to be
revealed.
---
You would think the gambling raids at Alabama
Casinos would focus on federal vice laws that overtrump state laws on such, but
we have our own peccadilloes locally involving state laws overtrumping local
laws. CSU's downtown campus and the River Center can violate laws that private
businesses' feet are held to the fire about.
---
According to Mayor Obamalinson, CVCC is charged
$500.00 a day to rent Golden Park for playing baseball games there. Hmm...
there's no way the expense of being prepared to have a stadium ready for play is
covered under a $500.00 rental agreement. It wouldn't be so bad if it were a
Columbus entity paying the rent, but CVCC is in
Alabama.
---
L-E headline: "Auburn Basketball * AD
Jacobs: ‘We have to be patient’ with Barbee *
Previous coaches needed 5-to-7 years to turn program
around" -- Would Jacobs please name another SEC school that would give the coach
of any sport 7 years to turn a program 'around'?
