6. Vallejo, Calif.
7. Warren, Mich.
8. Stockton, Calif.
9. Lake County, Ill.
10. New York
11. Toledo, Ohio
12. St. Louis
13. Camden, N.J.

17. Cleveland
18. Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
19. Gary, Ind.

--I'm not going to even waste any of my time looking this up, but I'm almost willing 'to bet my house' that all of the above cities have DUMBERat Mayors/Councils., and area voted for potUS 00-Bama in 2008 & 2012.

---

From above story: ""This is ridiculous. I am proud to be from Flint, MI," Manuel Gatica of New York — a Flint native" -- Yeah, the 'key word" is "FROM".... Mr Gatica can act indignant, BUT.... deep down, you know he's re\;lioeved to be able to say, he is "FROM", as in long gone, from Flint.

McClatchy online story: "President Obama says about 100 U.S. military personnel have been deployed to the African nation of Niger. * In a letter to Congress, Obama says the forces will provide support for "intelligence collection" and "intelligence sharing” with French troops fighting militants in neighboring Mali." -- ''will provide support for 'intelligence collection"? This is how Vietnam started... a US president sending in American troops to help the French who had lost control of their colony....

---

McClatch online story: "President Barack Obama insists he wants a balance of more taxes and less spending to curb runaway budget deficits. His record suggests, however, that he leans against cutting spending." -- HUH? What a typical DUMBERat influenced governmental approach to problem solving... we have it locally, too, and so do the top 20 "most miserable cities in America". Step 1 to solving any financial problem is to curtail expenses. As my grandfather was apt to say, "When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging."

---

"Helping the rich is the only thing that binds the GOP together." - potUS 00-Bama. What a hateful, bigoted thing to even imply, much less state by a President. At a time when only everyone working together will end the economic disaster this President has fueled, potUS 00-Bama had thrown a bag of salt on our nation's wounds.

How could the South African judge feel that Pistorius is not a flight risk? His major sponsors have already said they would honor their contracts with him, plus even without his passports, he would have access to a private jet, and any number of countries would grant him refuge (for enough money... which he does have).

---

WRBL3 Columbus story: "A news release explains that the Senate passed Senate Bill 12 by a vote of 50 to 0 to combat childhood obesity through participation in afterschool physical fitness programs. If passed into law, this bill would limit liability for the governing authority of a school that operates under a recreational agreement with a public or private group or organization. * the school authority will not be liable for any civil damages arising from the school’s facilities unless the school authority caused injury through gross negligence or willful misconduct. -- "the school authority will not be liable for any civil damages"? Wow, that's reassuring...NOT! Any lawyer can pick a jury to find any public entity guilty of 'gross negligence and willful misconduct'..
---
Online story: "Organizing for Action, the successor group to Obama’s campaign backers, plans to spend up to $100,000 on the campaign, and the national day of action marks the first test of the group's ability to mobilize the president's 2.2 million campaign volunteers to push for legislative change" -- To begin with, expanded background checks isn't really opposed, but potUS 00-Bama wants to undermine re-election efforts of Republicans he thinks are vulnerable. The crime here is the fact potUS 00-Bama has converted his campaign funds/volunteer base to covert political subterfuge.
---
Why are Republicans still trying to filibuster Chuck Hagels appointment? Let it come to a vote in the Senate, and all Republicans simply vote 'present'. Let the DUMBERat Senators determine Hagel's outcome. The results could be surprising.
---
What hypocrisy! The MCSD forces sex-education on students, then gets upset if mothers breast feed their children at the library.
---
A L-E "soundoff" of merit: "Let me understand this. If you are retired, or two years away from retirement, or have never worked in the Muscogee County Schools, you may qualify for superintendent."
---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” — Margaret Mead, American anthropologist (1901-1978). -- Then there's the obverse... there is a small group of citizens that should have been 'committed' to something other than a government facility: potUS 00-Bama, Beep Veep Biden, Dingy Harry Reid, Princess Pelosi, Castro, Chavez, Putin, Ahmandine-JIHAD, Hitler, Mussolini, Tito, Mao, Hirohito...
---
L-E story: " YAKIMA, Wash. — Six underground tanks that hold a brew of radioactive and toxic waste at the nation’s most contaminated nuclear site are leaking, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee announced Friday. * The governor said the leaking material poses no immediate risk to public safety or the environment because it would take a while — perhaps years — to reach groundwater." -- Hmmm, wasn't the Washington governor the lead point man on a story a couple of weeks ago bragging about the biggest apple harvest in Washington's history....
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Doctors should avoid 90 medical procedures that are performed regularly but often cost too much or do little good, according to a new list of expert recommendations. * The ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine ) Foundation said it released its medical “don’ts” to help doctors and patients choose wisely and reduce health care costs. * Some examples: Physicians shouldn’t use feeding tubes for patients with advanced dementia or automatically order CT scans to evaluate children’s minor head injuries." -- Thus begins the potUS 00-BamaCare death panels.
---
L-E story: "RALEIGH, N.C. — The federal prosecution of five former employees of the private security firm Blackwater has crumbled after the defendants said they were acting at the behest of the CIA by providing five guns as gifts to King Abdullah II of Jordan. * Federal prosecutors indicted former Blackwater president Gary Jackson and four others in 2010 on a long list of felony firearms violations involving dozens of weapons, including 17 M-4 military assault rifles and 17 Romanian-made AK-47s." -- "Fast & Furious" 2?
---
Hmmm, if Pistorius flees South Africa... what will the media refer to him as, "Fast & Fugitive"?
---
L-E's "Quotable": “Labor to keep alive in your breast that little spark of celestial fire, called conscience.” George Washington First U.S. President (1732-1799) " -- In today's PC climate and media rebellion against personal responsibility, George Washington probably could never have been elected President..
---
The media portrays the current political stalemate based on a 1-against-1 loggerhead between potUS 00-Bama and the Republican Party. That's not reality. Of the 435 Representatives, 100 Senators, and 1 President, Republicans are the majority of elected politicians sent to Washington to run the country; 00-Bama is but one person.
---
Lets face it... in a country where police questioning someone's citizenship gets media/DUMBERat vilification, proving one is an American citizen before registering for, or casting a ballot is even more important. than ever.
---
When you look closely at the line of Fiats offered for sale, why aren't they limited for use on golf courses or gated communities?
---
L-E story: "LOS ANGELES — You know those tall, leggy beauties that normally carry the Oscar trophies so the stars can present them? * They’ve been replaced this year by aspiring filmmakers. Six college students from across the country won a context to help present the Oscar statuettes this year. * “This tradition of the buxom babe that comes out and brings the trophy to the presenter to give to the winner seemed to be very antiquated and kind of sexist, too,” said Neil Meron, co-producer of this year’s Academy Awards. “They’re just there to be objectified." -- Huh? Hollywood was built on 'objectifying'! Now it's as much fun to think about Hollywood cannibalizing it's very self-gratification of existence and purpose.
---
The last few weeks must have been bummers in the local housing market... the L-E feature for Real Estate Transactions has listed only building/repair permits issued.
