Online story: "WASHINGTON — Uncompromising and politically emboldened,
President Barack Obama urged a deeply divided Congress Tuesday night to embrace
his plans to use government money to create jobs and strengthen the nation's
middle class." "use government money to create jobs"? How can taking money from
the productive and creative segment of Americans, putting it in the accounts of
parasitic politicians create jobs? On the other hand, show me a government that
can balance its annual budget, and I'll show you a prospering economy.

Now Double-Obama is back on the Global Warming kick. Who does pot-US
Double-Obama believe he is? Now he thinks he can control the weather? No wonder
the Pope stepped down.

I'm curious as to why liberals are so anti-coal.. Coal is basically peat
that had undergone "coalification' by heat and pressure, but it's still a plant
based energy source which should excite the "green energy" libs.
---
No matter how you analyze it, basically North Korea dropped a bombshell,
and the White House and UN responded with brain farts.

4 Alabama football players were arrested yesterday for 2 different
robberies. Guess waiting a couple or more years to earn a degree or career isn't
fast enough for thugs.

If Sequestration does come to full implementation, 100,000 military
servicemen will be "Riffed" out. Thank heaven for Walmart which has advertised
it will hire 100,000 veterans over the next 5 years.

Bob Beckel, longtime DUMBERat advisor/spokesperson, really got his shorts
in a wad on Fox News when asked for his opinion of Dr Ben Carson's National
Prayer Day speech. Beckel was in absolute fear mode that Dr Carson was able to
get such a simple message aired during such event. Beckell fumed as he ranted
that such a speech was given at such a non-political event. "Non-political
event"? There's no such thing as a "non-political event" in Washington. Every
invitation was 'political'! Beckel is scared that an accomplished black
conservative uprooted every doctrine the DUMBERats use to keep minorities inline
and under the governments thumb.

WRBL3 news story: "The President of Columbus United Way is headed to
Washington. * Scott Ferguson will be there while congress discusses possible
changes to the charitable tax deductions." -- Excuse me but this is not a local
issue, so why is the head of UW wasting local resources in such an ineffective
manner?
---
L-E story: "Derek Shrout is accused of collecting tobacco cans and pellets
with which to build bombs targeting students and staff at Russell County High
School. * Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor said a search of Shrout’s home
found tobacco cans with holes and pellets in them. * Black powder, butane and
fuses were not found. * The devices were just “a step or two away from being
ready to explode,” Taylor said.." -- Excuse me but how do you get from
possessing cans and pellets, but no powder, butane or fuses to being just "a
step or two from being ready to explode"? RC Sheriff Taylor must believe he's
related to that Mayberry Sheriff and the script is written to expedite the story
the way he wants it to end.

That California killer... . I wouldn't assume the psycho died there until
positive ID can be established. Until then, don't call off the dogs.

DA Slater needs to illuminate us on why she felt the need to call in the
GBI to investigate the Columbus Fire Department. Have to wonder if some campaign
promise is being kept.

A mixed-up liberal's L-E "soundoff": "It’s not at all amazing that so many Christians are
Democrats. What is amazing is that Republicans, in their arrogance, believe they
own the flag and God, too. " -- If Liberals/DUMBERats think they are more
Christian than Republicans, why do they persecute successful business people to
pay for government vs personal charity?
---
Another mixed-up liberal's L-E "soundoff: "A Republican will tax the little guy, yell and
scream about paying his own taxes, then try to steal what is left of the little
guy so he won't be able to ride to the funeral." -- Hey, it's not the
Republicans that always want to raise taxes or want small businesses to fund
lifestyles for those who waste their education opportunities nor desire not to
earn a non-criminal living.
---
L-E headline: "Hagel OK'd by Senate panel
in party-line vote" -- Republicans would be smart to back away from throwing
pot-US Double-Obama's pick into the White House briar patch. When it comes to a
vote in the Senate, Republicans who plan to vote "no" should simply vote
"present (Double-O's favorite)", and let the vote be an all-DUMBERat vote. That
way, it will be evident that Hagel has been a political foil from the
git-go.

It's a disgrace that the Natatorium will
be managed by a third party firm who has zero-interest in long term maintenance
plans for the facility. The disgrace is not so much the fact as such, but in the
excuses by dr. Worsley states as to why the Parks &Rec department cannot
handle the day-to-day operations efficiently.

I do applaud efforts to challenge cut
backs in personnel at Ft Benning, but am confused at some of the reasoning for
doing such. The Army didn't spend $51M of local resources on the Ft Benning
"Welcome" interchange, didn't spend $19M in local resources to widen I-185
leading into Ft Benning, and didn't overestimate the BRAC impact on our school
system. The problem was/is local/government entities not anticipating there
could/would possibly be problems in the projections, and not taking
precautionary steps to limit that impact. Hmmm, it's sorta like what's happening
with the Whitewater Project as well.

L-E story on school defense strategies:
"A tight budget leaves the state little room to pay for more armed police
officers in schools, (Rep. Paul) Battles ( R-Cartersville) said. He estimated
paying for an officer would cost each school around $80,000 to $85,000 when
accounting for salary and benefits. He described his plan to arm school
employees as an affordable alternative." -- Paying for one officer to work a
five day week for 36 weeks translates into $80,000-$85,000 in "school-speak"?
Just the flight from the Columbus PD would cripple crime prevention in Columbus
and most other cities in GA. No wonder our school budgets are bloated if this
projection is compared to all other school system costs.

With the proclivity of college
scholarship athletes being arrested for criminal activities not related to known
college pranks, wonder if college scho;arship offers will include insurance
riders for legal assistance for scholarship athletes?

L-E headline: "Olympics * IOC cuts
wrestling from 2020 games" -- This is what happens every time you put
politicians in charge of history. Wrestling epitomizes the Olympic games from
the very inception, yet obviously is not commercially appealing to advertising
and TV ratings, so wrestling will be phased out. What an absolute embarrassment
to the IOC.
