press release detailing its incredibly extensive coverage plans for the final
leg of the journey of the Carnival Triumph cruise ship, which has been struck
with power failures and squalid conditions for five days. The release made clear
that CNN was going all in" -- Hmmm, looks like CNN is dumping attempts to
overtake Fox and going after the "Entertainment Tonight" & "TMZ"

role movie. They actually sympathized and supported Dorner's action/plight on a

The Carnival "Triumph" (what an unfortunate misnomer for Carnival Cruise
Lines) has finally docked. You'd think Carnival would want this nightmare to
end, but, no, Carnival just picked up the fumble on the dock and ran the ball
back into the end zone. Carnival said the 3,000 or so passengers have the option
of a seven-hour bus ride to the Texas cities of Galveston or Houston or a
two-hour trip to New Orleans. Buses are standing by to take them to their next
stop. Can you imagine after being on that ship 'forever' that Carnival isn't
trying to salvage some sort of positive PR by flying out every passenger to
their homes as soon as they disembarked?

7,000 troops (plus another 11,000 family members), yet construction continues
unchecked on the new mega-hospital being built to handle that BRAC influx that
didn't happen to begin with. Does Ft Benning need a modern medical facility..

I, too, would hate to
see charitable donations scrapped as tax deductions, but i do feel most donors
do so out of concern and compassion for their causes, but I do not see where the
local United Way director needs to spend/waste donated funds on a trip to
Washington. The local United Way is a dues paying member of a national
organization which can carry this torch to
Washington.

Some people like to "snipe" while concealed in the shadows.. those people are not worthy of having their comments addressed nor published.
For info sake.. recently, viewer numbers have eclipsed 29,000 on six continents (all but Antarctica).
