Maybe we should all get together and press for a complete bankruptcy case against the potUS 00-Bama administration. Sequester doesn't even "cut " any real money over 10 years; it's simply a forced reduction is planned spending increases, but if doing so means every US Department of whatever thinks it's going to be shutdown, it's just a really bad case of management that needs to be outed.

Chuck Hagel was confirmed... 58-41 vote. Hmmm, 18 Republicans voted for him. That means if the Republicans had just let the process start without 'filibustering', then all Republicans had simply voted present, and only 40 DUMBERats had voted for him, then Hagel would not have been confirmed, and it would have been DUMBERats 'fault'. Now, when Hagel screws up, it will be blamed on the Republicans. Stupid Republicans!

There's a new medical ad running on TV for a drug to help post-menopausal osteoporosis. It ends telling you not to take it if you're pregnant. Hmmm, I didn't know post-menopausal pregnancies were such a problem.

So potUS 00-Bama can't, well, actually doesn't want to, cut government expenditures, yet having Homeland Security buy 1,621,000,000 rounds of ammo in the last 10 months would have cost between $500,000.00 -$1,200,000,000 dollars. In addition, buying that much ammo has driven the cost up for American citizens/sportsmen.

A Texas school's policy is to refer to Muslim terrorists as "freedom fighters". Bet you one thing, that school's School Board is absent of Republicans... maybe even Texans or Americans.

Thanks to a head's up from a fellow BCer: E15..... remember this well if you have 2011 or earlier vehicle. Manufacturers are issuing warranty voiding notices if you put E15 gas in your car, even accidentally or are forced to do so because E10 fuel is not available where you've traveled to. The problem is "separation". When the E15 has time to settle in you tank, the heavier ethanol sinks to the bottom, and your car is sucking straight (and plastic corrosive) ethanol through your fuel system. Eventually you use up the ethanol and you car starts running on the gasoline which is now 3 octane points below what your engine is designed to run efficiently on. In other words, your car will be headed to the "Cash for Clunkers II" program in spite of diligent maintenance programs.

Why doesn't Coincil just make up a law to charge them $1.00 per hour to park their butts on city properties? Better yet, just add 'feral cats' as a second target of the "Rid Columbus of the Homeless in 10 Years" program.

" -- Has Bernanke passed any sort of competency test in the last 4 years? How can he claim spending cuts will 'create a "significant burden on an economy that is growing only moderately", when it was uncontrolled spending that caused the economy to go to pot?
