It's Groundhog Day... if pot-US Obluster sees his shadow, the economy will hibernate for 4 more years. Let's pray he doesn't see the light of day.

---

Online story: A South Dakota woman got 4 speeding tickets in 4 hours crossing Minnesota to get to Wisconsin. Her first was doing 112 MPH, the second for 99, the third for 88, the fourth 88 also. She was also ticketed for having no insurance, and possession of marijuana. A Minnesota State Patrol Lieutenant said that since all the charges were misdemeanors, "jailing wasn't an option". -- Damn liberals! Reckless, uninsured driving while transporting marijuana isn't punishable in Minnesota.. hmmm, any body wanna stage a "Gumball Rally Race" around the state of Minnesota this summer? I know 'baby' needs a good flat 150 MPH out airing out.

---

Online teen driving facts: "Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. teens. * The risk of motor vehicle crashes is higher among 16- to 19-year-olds than among any other age group. In fact, per mile driven, teen drivers ages 16 to 19 are three times more likely than drivers aged 20 and older to be in a fatal crash. * Almost 65% of all teen passenger deaths occurred when another teen was driving. * Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. teens, accounting for 36% of all deaths in this age group. " -- And liberals are out raged at guns?

---

Online story: "Steve Capus, the president of NBC News, is leaving, he said in a memo to the network's staff. * News of Capus' departure was first reported by Politico." -- Hmmm, "first reported by Politico"? That's probably why he's getting fired...

---

From a fellow BCer.... pretty much self-explanatory:

---

Ditto:

---

Rumor has it that when Bleep Veep Biden was asked about the turmoil about Turkey , he said he preferred breast with dressing & cranberry sauce.

---

Even Fox News is kowtowing to political correctness.... When the latest unemployment up-tick figures were announced, a Fox reporter just meekly said, "they don't look that great", rather than blast pot-US Obluster's complacency at handling the economy.

---

Why is pot-US Obluster so eager to support France's problems in Mali? Remember when we were asked to provided some policing support for France in Vietnam?

---

Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "Wonder why the people who pretend to be “pro-life” are also pro-assault weapons and pro-death penalty? The pro-lifers will defend you in the womb, but after that, look out. " -- Liberals (see definition below) fell that if your child makes it out of the womb, government should be responsible for it; Conservatives believe that protecting your child from government is a lifelong process and the 2nd Amendment is our friend.

---

Liberal..... Libated Imbecile Berating Everything Real American's Love.

---

L-E headline: "Healthier schools: Goodbye candy and greasy snacks " -- Hmmm, now we have to wait to see how having no incentive to go to school affects the graduation rates.

---

L-E headline: "Obama administration proposes compromise" -- "Compromise"? With who, the Congressional DUMBERats? He's already shown he want work with Republicans so who'd left?

---

What's wrong with this picture?

This Dade County Sheriff's Department Helicopter is landing at the scene on the 3rd day of the Midland, AL hostage scene. Now tell me, why are the citizen's of Dade County having to foot the bill for an ego trip? The psycho has been holed up for 3 days, and ain't going to be able to make a run for anywhere, so why is a Sheriff's Department helicopter needed. For that matter, why aren't Dade Countians upset at having to maintain such year around. Columbus, GA used to have one, but couldn't afford to use/maintain it.

---

L-E headline/story: "Secret Service chief to step down * Last May, in testimony before Congress, Sullivan apologized for the conduct of Secret Service employees caught in a prostitution scandal in Colombia. Thirteen agents and officers were implicated after an agent argued with a prostitute over payment in a hotel hallway in Cartagena, Colombia. * The incident prompted Sullivan to issue a new code of conduct that barred employees from drinking within 10 hours of the start of a shift and from bringing foreigners to their hotel rooms " -- Hmmm, guess that last directive was considered discriminatory to the illegal alien voting bloc, and pot-US Obluster has decided it's a campaign promise he has to keep.

---

L-E's "Late Laughs": "— Jay Leno THE SENATE has overwhelmingly approved John Kerry as the next secretary of state … the first white male to hold that job since 1997. So finally middle-aged white guys with gray hair are breaking through the glass ceiling. - Jay Leno" -- Looks like Jay has also put a crack in the 'political correctness' ceiling as well. Makes sense... the Senate and pot-US Obluster put another DUMBERat 'crack' in a government job.

---

Even Gary Trudeau is envisioning the death of the print liberal newspaper. He already has lost the thriving conservative aspect.

---

L-E headline/story: "Jihadists in custody say they were tortured * TIMBUKTU, Mali — Three suspected jihadists arrested in the days since the liberation of Timbuktu said Friday that Malian soldiers were torturing them with a method similar to water-boarding." -- What an oxymoronic situation! Jihadist.. suicidal maniacs... complaining about personal inconvenience and being alive to whine.

---

Glad to see work on Veterans Parkway continuing. Let's hope they are replacing the 25 dead/dying trees planted between 13th and 9th Sts 3 years ago, too.

---

L-E story: "An employee of Fork’s Package Store on Fort Benning Road was robbed at gunpoint Thursday, according to a police report. * The employee told police that around 8 p.m., a 6-foot-1-inch black man in his 20s threatened him with a pistol. The man also was described as wearing a dark brown plaid sweater, a dark cap with ear flaps and black leather gloves." -- Can't wait to see how a defense attorney will argue this case. I can see it that the attorney will plea that it was justified because his client couldn't bear being seen any longer in his atrocious wardrobe.... and a jury of his peers agreeing with him!

---

Earlier, I related a story about the South Dakota woman getting 4 speeding tickets in 3 hours. Columbus has a guy that got his 2nd and 3rd DUIs in 4 days. Why was this guys license and vehicle not impounded?

---

Unemployment and the economy in the toilet... hmmm, and now gasoline is soaring. Can't wait to see pot_US Obluster's spinmeisters smile their way through the weekend TV talk shows. Of course, the saddest thing is that their smiles will be genuine.

---

I don't care who is rating the Super Bowl ads, how can anyone not consider the EDS "Cat Herding" ad one of the 10 best?

---

Speaking of ads in genearl, how about that Fiat ad that has cars driving into Mediterranean Sea, then driving out on the American shores? Just typical Obluster administration overlooking illegal alien entry at our borders.
