City employees removing political signs... seems like a perfect way for an incumbent to stifle a challenger, or a City employee to perform duties for an incumbent during working hours.

Washington State.. one of the biggest liberal congregations in the US.. you'd think that Washingtonians would already be practicing what they preach.. voluntary redistribution of wealth and free healthcare.

You know, Judas 00-Barnum's assault on Bundy and Sterling are part of a pattern. He's assaulted the Boston police over the performance of their duties, he's protected Pric Holder, he's fired a number of military leaders, he's imposed a tax on indoor tanning, and defended ACORN. let's face it, Judas 00-Barnum is pretty one sided when protecting civil rights.

I think back to a bill Democrats pushed in October of 1990. It was a rehash of Kennedy's oft offered horrible medical care bill with another horrible racial hiring quota bill. Just enough Democrats joined every Republican to make these afflictions never passed, and as soon as the gavel went down signifying the defeat, every Democrat spinmeister, every Democrat candidate started campaigning on the Republicans having defeated a "Civil Rights" bill. Let's fast forward .. as National entity, the NBA would have had to have a population based employee schedule. What would that look like.. Instead of 70% black players today, the league would consist of 63-70% white players. That would have been an nteresting turn of events.

My daughter's Saturn has been fixed, but GM's continued assertion that these cars are "safe" as long as you take your key chain and the keys you need off of it disturbs me. What it tells me is that originally GM didn't test the set up in the real world scenario. Now I'm wondering where else, and what other parts did GM not do due diligence on making any of their cars "safe".

There's been a big renewal to reclassify competitive cheer leading as a "sport". You know, it is a very skilled and athletic activity , so why not? Maybe somebody will come up with a combination of rules that will make it acceptable for liberal school boards.. say ugly helmets and a no-keeping-score system.

L-E story: "Lee County Coroner Bill Harris reported Sunday that a Smiths Station woman who was attacked April 28 by pit bulls has died in an Atlanta hospital. * She and the dogs' owner were reportedly playing with four dogs in the backyard * she apparently knelt down to pick something up. One dog attacked her, and then two others joined in" -- What's it gonna finally take to eliminate pit bulls as a species? This is one of the worst cases of pit bull attacks ever reported.. the owner was actually present and could not prevent nor stop the vicious carnage. Maybe if the law of putting down such dogs also applied to the owner as well.

L-E commentary: "Seattle Times: It's time for a cease-fire in drug war * Finally, the U.S. government is waking up to the realization that it cannot jail its way out of a drug problem." -- Oh, and the solution is to lay down and allow open abuse of drugs? Let's put this argument "on hold" for a couple of years while we digest the results of open marijuana use in Colorado & Washington.

On the above.. you know, it's not the personal effects of drugs on an individual that's at issue here, but the realization that recreational drug use ceases to be a victimless crime when anyone injures another seeking a way to get funding to purchase more, or is involved in the illegal sell of such products.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": " The Obama administration has deported over 17 times more illegal immigrants than the Bush administration ever thought about deporting." -- The disconnect between fact and fiction concerning the numbers that Judas 00-Barnum speaks is unreal. First, 00-Barnum's numbers include "border turn arounds" which are not deportations, but what really gets me about this claim is that this, and many other liberals are so willing to defend 00-Barnum as tough on illegal aliens when 00-Barnum and the liberals really want to end deportations.

This is a direct condemnation of the Democratic Party as demonstrated during the first two years of Judas 00-Barnum's administration. Super-majorities in both Congressional chambers and a Democratic Party President, and the major two pieces of legislation that came out of it were the dismantling of our healthcare industry, and a racist tax on indoor tanning. Hardly anything to point to tolerance....

Now, if there is any need to protect any professor from discrimination, it's a need to protect conservative and Christian ideology.

I'm curious.. there's a picture in the L-E honoring the MCSD Teacher of the Year and in that picture is Mayor Obamalinson. Why is the Mayor in this picture? Last I heard, the MCSD ran the school system, and I've never seen the Mayor, or for that matter a Councilperson, have a vote or influence in school matters. This is abuse of power to get free exposure prior to the election. The L-E owes Colin Martin a free photo-op picture of his choice under the equal candidate media protection laws
