Online story: "President Barack Obama taught everyone a little lesson about racist Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy during the 2014 White House Correspondents' Dinner. * Obama was touting the success of Olympic snowboarder Jamie Anderson, who was in attendance at the dinner, saying he hadn't "seen someone pull a 180 that fast until Rand Paul disinvited that Nevada rancher from this dinner." * "As a general rule, things don't end well if the sentence starts with, 'Let me tell you something about the Negro,'" Obama said. "You don't really need to know the rest of it, just a tip for you." -- This is in the category of using a "bunker blaster" to swat a fly. Judas 00-Barnum owes this nation an apology (and a few to-the-hip bows) for desecrating the office if the president, and for sending a swat team to intimidate an American citizen grazing his herd of cattle!
---
Oh! Albert Einstein called "rasicm" a disease! You know what that means for Bundy and Strerling, don't you.. they are covered by OObamaCRAP as a pre-existing condition!Wonder if Judas 00-Barnum will visit them in the hospital?
---
Online story: "But compared to past White House Correspondents' Dinners, the guest list was a little light on A-list celebrities this year. The Washington Post reports event organizers are looking to tone down the celebrity appearances this year and focus on the correspondents." -- Hmmm, could it simply be that Judas 00-Barnum is no longer on the Hollywood A-List?
---
HuffPost headline: "Democratic Candidate Backs Down From KKK Hoods Plan * One day after vowing to hand out KKK hoods at Wisconsin Republicans' state convention, Democratic gubernatorial candidate and state Rep. Br(_*_)tt Hulsey backed off of that plan." -- Yeah, he musta found out they were former Democrat Senator Robert Byrd autographed models.
---
You know, Judas 00-Barnum has, well, had an opportunity to step up to the plate ala Reagan, and squash the civilian maintenance workers strike at Ft Rucker. But he hasn't. Instead, he uses his bully pulpit to personally harangue an American citizen wanting to graze his cattle in Nevada. Pitiful.

Online story: "Former secretary of state and potential 2016 Democratic presidential contender Hillary Rodham Clinton received the Order of Lincoln, the state's highest award, Saturday night, but stayed away from discussing brewing political events. * She urged the more than 250 attendees to support the next generation in honor of Abraham Lincoln: "Chicagoans and Illinoisans and Americans who will perhaps be moved by the example of President Lincoln and continue to do all that needs to be done to unify this exceptional country on behalf of the values that he gave his life for." -- Good grief...if Hillary wants to honor Lincoln, she can start by giving back this award.
---
The above story puzzles me.. why would Chicago, Illinois for that matter name an award after a Republican? I could be wrong, BUT I don't think there's been one true Republican elected to anything there since Lincoln.
---
Online story: "Trustees at North Carolina's flagship university are reviewing the amount of a health fee paid by thousands of students and how it is spent after officials questioned the money's use for sex counseling and stage performances addressing sexual topics and social advocacy." -- Wait a minute.. why are college's still going to charge students (well mostly students' parents) a healthcare fee anymore? I mean, under OObamaCRAP, students are covered by either their parents insurance or now have their own.

There was a pretty good and informative article in the L-E about Columbus' District Attorney. Well, the DA has certainly shot down Mayor Obamalinson's claim that crime is down, and we have no gangs.
---
You know,, the FOP endorsement of Martin for Mayor is a pretty big deal. Not only was endorsing a challenger unusual, endorsing him against an incumbent Democrat is huge!
---
L-E story: "The deaths of two Columbus men are homicides, according to preliminary autopsy reports from the state crime lab, Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said Friday. * Corey "Blurp" Owens, 29, died of a gunshot wound on April 25, a day after he was shot while driving his GMC Suburban on Adair Avenue at Wynnton Road. Bryan said Owens died of a gunshot wound to the back of his head, but he had no information on the caliber of the weapon." -- Yet other areal people die of "accidental asphyxiation or heart attacks while driving, but no autopsies are needed.. go figure..

Now I'm beginning to understand why we have to wait so long to become grandparents. "Little Tyke" activity units. After 4 hours, I'm down to the slide, the last component. To say the directions are inadequate is a given, but why do they have to give a set that was designed for the first run before changes were made in components. On top of that a young couple trying to put this together would probably be contemplating a divorce about now, but they couldn't afford it after running out to buy the necessary tools required that a young couple haven't thought about needing before. Sam's sells the box of parts for $149.00, but some smart handyman could make a killing by offering them assembled at $300.00 or by giving them away along with his phone number. After a young couple gets an hour into it, they'd call the handyman and gladly pay him $300.00 to come put it together for them.

L-E's George Will Commentary: "If the president wants to witness a refutation of his assertion that the survival of the Affordable Care Act is assured, come Thursday he should stroll the 13 blocks from his office to the nation’s second-most important court, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. There he can hear an argument involving yet another constitutional provision that evidently has escaped his notice. It is the origination clause, which says: “All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with amendments as on other bills.” -- This has been discussed here , but what's most amazing is how Chief Justice John Roberts cast the deciding vote allowing it because it was a tax, but knowing that the bill was unconstitutional in origin.

Local observation: The widening project of Whittlesey between Whitesville & Veterans would be a lot more tolerable, not to mention a lot better traffic mover, if the temporary connection at he intersection at Veterans were completed first. 4 or 5 lanes there would aleviate the long back up at the light during busy hours. Starting in the middle of the stretch basically insures bottlenecks at the mentioned intersection will only get worse.

Now we learn that MERS (Mid-East Respiratory Syndrome) not only has been discovered in this country, but also in Chicago, which is under consideration for the Democratic Party National Convention. You'd think we had enough on our plates about that, but there's more..what about TSA & Customs officers who checked this guy out in two of our busiest airports? Now throw in that MERS is caught from camels. I was having a tough time thinking about terrorists and 72 virgin sheep...

Have you ever thought about why jobless liberals protest capitalism? Shouldn't they actually be supporting more capitalism..after all, the more people working means more entitlement money available for them.
---
Benghazi is not about whether 2 or 4 Americans were killed, it's about whether 2 or 4 Americans could have been saved by a military response. We know the "stand down" did not originate from the Pentagon of AFRICOM, there pay scales aren't high enough.
---
L-E story: "F. Thomas (one of three John Wells' opponents), and (Beth) Harris’ opponent in District 8, Frank Myers, mailed flyers to residents this past week highlighting that two-year-old vote. The flyers call the vote “one of the most embarrassing and disgraceful abuses of political power ever witnessed in our city.” -- Hmm, and the way things are looking Myers might win, and become the eventual holder of "one of the most embarrassing and disgraceful abuses of political power ever witnessed in our city".
---
L-E headline: "Convicted of murder, ex-Benning soldier blames anti-smoking drug" -- Specifically, Chantix. As has been highlighted here in a number of Breakfast Club offerings, the TV ads for Chantix are so laced with deathly contraindications, no one should be allowed to use/buy this drug. How did it get approved?
---
L-E's " Thought for Today": “The greater the number of laws and enactments, the more thieves and robbers there will be.” — Lao-tzu, Chinese philosopher (c.604-531 B.C.)." -- Hmmm, sounds like Lao-tzu was a seer, as well.. he pretty much predicted the mindset of the Democratic Party.
