From another BCer..I tried to laugh, but tears came instead:

Passed on by a fellow BCer:

Entitlement my foot!... I paid cash for my social security insurance!!!! Just because they borrowed the money , doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout !! Congressional benefits , aka. free healthcare , outrageous retirement packages , 67 paid holidays , three weeks paid vacation , unlimited paid sick days , now that's welfare , and they have the nerve to call my retirement "entitlements" !!!!!!.....

I really don't understand Carmike's approach to marketing. Showing the same movies at both main complexes that serve the same primary market, plus showing the same movie 5 different ways ( Big D at one as well as duplicating 2D & 3D in both complexes) makes the cost of reaching it's interested market 5 times the cost of showing the movie 1 way at i complex.

From the "didja ever notice' department - Smoke alarm batteries seemingly only signal that they are 'weak' in the middle of the night? BTW, Walgreen's has 9V Duracell alkaline batteries on sale, even at 2:30 AM.

Online headline: "NATO Hits Rebel Forces In Libya" -- Who could tell?
---
You have to wonder where illegal aliens from Mexico are crossing the birder since most of Arizona is lit up with fire.
---
The "Golf Summit" - Emperor O'Bozo teamed with Congressman Boehner to win $2.00 from VEEP Biden-Biden and Gov. Kasich. Funny how Emperor O'Bozo can teaam up with Boehner for $2.00, but can't the goal is to save taxpayers $2 TRILLION.
---
I guess the Emperor O'Bozo brought VEEP Biden-Biden along to cuss for him when he missed a putt to far to the left.

Online story: "WASHINGTON — U.S. officials say Pakistan has apparently tipped off militants at two more bomb-building factories in its tribal areas, giving the terror suspects time to flee, after U.S. intelligence shared the locations with the Pakistani government." -- Maybe it's time to let it slip that Karzai is on the list so he will flee the country.

The L-E Sunday Edition looked more like something we usually see while checking out at the grocery store..The lead story being run was bad enough, but especially cruel on Father's Day.

What a travesty that siblings are fighting over UGA football tickets in settling their parents' wills. Funny thing is, we all know who will get "the tickets"...their lawyers!

Have you ever thought about the irony of the last LOST that went into effect. It excluded the extra penny sales tax on hotel/motel rooms and automobiles. It's funny because of Mayor Mother Teresa Obamalinson's direct contact with suing the online travel companies over getting more tax dollars, and if you've bought a new car, you were probably quoted a price which include 7% in sales taxes, and if you agreed to that bottom line price, the contract would shift the extra 1% to the cost of the car and show only 6% in sales taxes making the bottom line the same as the original quote on the worksheet.

A "special to the Ledger-Enquirer tries to sell us that black students are disproportionately disciplined. It's not about the number of discipline cases, it's about the disproportionate infractions of school rules by a disproportionate ratio of students. Know what, it's going to get worse since the US Supreme Court ruled that even elementary students need to be read their "Miranda Rights" before a teacher/Principal can question them.

Looks like Roy McIlroy learned his lesson at the Masters...get an even bigger lead going into the final round...
