Online story: "Chicago's gas prices are still the highest in the U.S." -- Why am I not surprised?
---
Here's a nominee (and odd's on favorite) for the truth-in-advertising award for 2011: On a pizza delivery box from Papa John's - "Caution: Contents "may be" hot".

The new jobless claims were 414,000 yesterday, and that was 'better than expected' than the estimated 420,000. How much longer can America sustain Emperor O'Bozo's experts thinking 414,000 new jobless claims is OK whether it is less or more than 'expected'? The White House will probably proclaim this number as an indicator of an improving economy, but 414,000 a week is over 21 MILLION new jobless claims per year!
---
Emperor O'Bozo really keeps redefining, no reinforcing, his naivety and inabilities to lead a nation. Now he's blaming the lack of new job opportunities on ATMs and airport check-in kiosks for eliminating people needed to perform such jobs. I do believe industries such as banks and airways have added such automation to be of service during peak times or off-hours so customers won't have to wait as long for simple transactions that don't need problem solving people to answer specific questions. Besides, weren't and aren't jobs created to create/build/maintain these automated service centers? And what's the Emperor going to blame next..the answering machine on your telephone? Where do DUMB&DUMBERats find these people for government jobs?

Casey Anthony's lawyer, Jose Baez, is single-handedly raising the distrust of lawyers from 99% to 99.9% His unfounded claims are below the lowest expectations one can have for even the sleaziest of lawyers.

Online headline: "Obama: Anthony Weiner Will 'Bounce Back" -- Yeah, as in the 'dead cat bounce'.
---
How can ex-Congressman Weiner think jokes about him will ever go away? Every time you hear the Oscar Mayer jingle or see the Oscar Mayer Wiener-mobile, guess whom we're gonna think about first?
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama’s top general in Afghanistan has given him a range of options for withdrawing American forces as a July deadline for starting the drawdown approaches" -- Looks like one of those options may be a 12 month R & R on the beaches of Libya."
---
L-E ad claim: ""Announcing Free Cell Phone Service for Georgia and Alabama Residents * You may qualify for Assurance Wireless (Virgin Mobile) based on your household income, if you're on Medicaid or participate in other government programs. To verify your eligibility, visit www.assurancewireless.com or call for more information -- How can any program paid for by taxpayers be considered "free" for anyone?
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 Thursday against the state of North Carolina in the case of a juvenile who was questioned in a school conference room without being read his Miranda rights. * The Miranda rights exist to prevent police from coercing confessions" -- How can 5 members of the US Supreme Court equate a school official with being a police officer? This precedence will require every school to hire a lawyer present when a principal has to get to the bottom of which second grader threw an eraser at a teacher.

L-E headline/story: "Pentagon dreams of Star Trek-style interstellar travel * This isn’t about going to a nearby planet, like Mars. And it’s not about using robotic probes, which doesn’t interest the Defense Department, Neyland said. * But even the nearest star beyond our sun is 25 trillion miles away. The fastest rocket man has built would take more than 4,000 years to get there. " -- 4,000 years to get there? Other than assuming the Pentagon may 'feel' another sun 25 TRILLION miles away (even the Pentagon looks like it has devalued the immensity of what a 'trillion' any thing is) must be cooler than our sun (ONLY 93 million miles away), has the Pentagon even thought about what 4,000 years would mean for the pilot? Shoot, he'd probably have to be 'retired' before he got there. "They" walk among us.......

Why does the census count of our Council Districts add up to only 181,987 people when the 'official' Census says Columbus has 189,000+?
---
Two L-E Police report stories: "Two teens robbed a 19-yearold outside of South Columbus Elementary on Wednesday afternoon, Columbus police said. * A Columbus man is in good condition after police say he was robbed and shot three times inside a Wynnton Road apartment Wednesday afternoon. " -- Why are not victim names published?
---
We don't 'need' to know how GOP hopefuls "feel" about Emperor O'Bozo, we know how we 'feel' about him. What we need and want to know is what the GOP hopefuls think they can offer as an alternative.
